The 3090 is a beast but the performance just doesn’t seem to live up to the price. Wonder if they will release a 3090ti...and how many organs I’d need to sell to get one.
Resistance, Killzone and Uncharted. They looked amazing for their respective times...I would love to see what could be achieved for them on PS5.

I’ve been waiting for weeks for a console and this lot go and snap up 2000 of them the instant they hit the market again. Now eBay is full of £800-£900 ps5s.
As much as I want one I absolutely refuse to give in the damn scalpers.

Amazing main story line but poor side quests and dull NPCs. That’s where they need to improve.
The PC world was always going to surpass the PS5 in NVME performance in the end. That’s inevitable when you compare prices of the hardware.
What is surprising is that this was a rare case where consoles held a lead over highest end PCs even if it was only short lived.
So do literally dozens of other things from sports to TV soaps to celebrity gossip. People would rather read about things that make them happy and content providers give people what they want.
My experience (as a 2080ti and PS4 pro owner) is that optimisation can a long way to reducing the impact of the raw power gap but only if it’s done really well. When I compare the graphics between poor performing pro games such as watchdogs 2 for example (pc and pro both hooked up to the same big tv) the power difference is very clear. But ps exclusives (TLOU2, Days Gone, Tsushima) where devs have maximised those games on the hardware match the visual impressiveness of the best I’ve seen my...
Let’s hope they aren’t planning on selling us remasters of PS4 games as ‘new releases’ for PS5 rather than free patches.
Right that does it. Given this epic development I’m off to buy a PS5 from a scalper for £1000 on eBay. Can’t wait another minute.

Switch is a good console in my opinion.
However, comparing sales of Xbox and PS4 when they were in the final year of a long generational cycle with new hardware just around the corner to those of a the switch which is in the peak years of its cycle is unfair.
Sony aren’t afraid to bin franchises that don’t deliver sales results. Anyone remember The Order 1886? I actually really enjoyed it but sales killed it dead.
I loved all the killzone games and would really like to see a PS5 remaster of them all even if no new instalments are added.
I wonder whether Sony perceive that the IP is a bit dated for modern standards.
Question 1. What the hell is the RTX 3090 supposed to be?! Worst value graphics card ever released.

Question 3. Where will the 3080ti sit in the product range? The gaming performance gap between 3080 and 3090 is pretty small. Are they really going to offer a ti model with only 10-15% performance boost on the 3080?
