I think they probably should have killed vita and then released a PSP2 with all the missing triggers, bigger screen better power etc. seeing the success of switch and interest in the deck there is clearly a big market.
Also a handheld device like that from Sony would be a great fit for PSNow.
It’s a weird list to be honest. Assassins Creed Black Flag is definitely compatible for example, but every other AC game is just not mentioned at all. We have fallout 3 but no mention either way of new vegas.
Work in progress I guess…
Golden Abyss and the Vita deserved better fortune.
I would expect them to do the traditional spin off game in the vein of New Dawn/Primal next.
Steam!!
I already own the full game..paid £50 for it when it first came out and yet I still think offering this stripped down game as the PSPlus offering for the month is a bad precedent for the service. I also hate the idea of breaking games up into little chunks like this, it’s tantamount to creating monetised demo plus versions of games.
All these down votes are an expression peoples annoyance at this potential new trend.
Super tech savi country. I’d be interested to try out some Indian made games
You know maybe I’m out of touch but I dislike this idea that games should last 1000s of hours. What’s wrong with playing through a well crafted 20-30 hour game and moving on. Keep it fresh all the way through, dont outstay the welcome and happy days.
Look forward to this game but I dont see the need for 100s let alone 1000s of hours of content.
Please don’t make all games open world, ikon studded map, collectathons with endless forgettable side quests and endgames of rinse and repeat missions that never end.
Nothing wrong with a linear adventure. The tightness of the game world allows for better paced more cohesive story telling and so better immersion. You don’t interrupt the main narrative to pursue endless shallow side quests or to look at an ikon that turns out the be a chest full of nothing you really wan...
Their games as still selling well so not really any big problems for them as a business. Creatively though they do have an issue with a being over formulaic. They have 4 similar feeling open world type games (AC, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Ghost Reckon) so maybe they should drop one or two of those and mix things up with by taking risks with something totally new. Problem is the current formula makes Ubisoft the business plenty of money so not sure we will see change until people finally stop bu...
Solid game, great guns and powers. What let it down for me was that I found the gameplay loop too repetitive. Got tired of the formula and drifted away. Ill go back in the end but this is a 7 or 8 out of 10 game. Good but no classic.
Looks good as it bloody should do for the price of that rig.
Buy later get a cheaper less buggy version. I can generally wait.
1994 called. The ps1 wants it’s popeye game back.
The switch does have a bit of a shovelware issue to be fair. Lots of gems but they are lost amongst the dross.
I feel that you get a much bigger improvement in a game from the fps boost than a typically relatively modest resolution and details boost.
Once you start playing the fluid motion is far more important than a graphical boost that you don’t notice during the action.
But I do feel people should get the choice.
I’m not sure that 30fps only will wash anymore. Once you get used to 60fps as standard you feel that drop to 30fps.
With so many 60fps titles out there one that only offers 30 will stand out in a bad way I feel.
Rebuild it so it’s a new experience seems pointless when the new experience is Diablo 4 and it’s coming. This was just a nice item to fill the gap while we wait
So this is basically a rival to Apple Games. Meh....come back to me when Netflix creates something that can challenge game pass
Good to see. It seems to me that the evolution of narrative and dialogue has not kept pace with technical and graphical improvements. The more realistic games look the more jarring it is to play through the same old repetitive and clumsily paced game stories. Breaks the immersion.
I’ve played it on PS5 recently. I’ve found no bugs or major performance issues. It’s overall a good game though not something I will remember as a classic.
Problem is, a good but not amazing game delivered after the initial hype, disastrous launch then allowing for an extra year of development is not enough to turn this around for CDPR.
Glad they persisted and fixed it technically but it’s time move on and learn from this I feel. Hopefully the new Wi...
