Well, hardly a surprise. I don't suppose they bought Obsidian in order to have them release amazing PlayStation versions of their games so PC Xbox exclusivity is inevitable.
Really looking forward to this.
The fallout games were loved on the PS3 era when their faults were tolerated given the technology available, they were good for the time. Fallout 4 was no where near as well received and was criticised for a lack of technical progression. Fallout 74 was massively panned.
Where’s Bethesda’s ‘free pass’?
If you’ve never played these games then this is a no brainer…jump on this and you will not be sorry!
Sony want the PC versions to generate some easy extra income. Putting loads of effort into a big upgrade reduces profit and also creates makes the PS version look massively inferior.
Sony are in this for extra cash not to make PC look like an amazing platform...hence quick ports with modest improvements.
When a review embargo drops early the devs know their game is great and have no fear of reviewers
Glad someone said it.
Pc and xbox means you can’t access ps exclusives. Pc/xbox and ps5 means you can access everything. No sure why people would disagree with this to be honest.
Which is why you ideally you need a ps5 and either an Xbox or a pc
This game trades too heavily on a tired old meme. I did really enjoy the trilogy having said that. Shame they stopped making games. Would be good to see what they could produce if they made a crysis 4 built from the ground up for modern tech.
Don’t get the hate this game has had. It’s great fun. Solid fun combat, nice streamlined game systems.
It’s not revolutionary but it makes for a really fun coop RPG shooter. If that’s you type of game you like you can’t go wrong with this.
A factory pumping out big budget AAA games is not bad thing is it?
We can get indies from two dozen sources but top quality massive budget blockbuster games come from relatively few places.
Most modern open world RPGs suffer from bloat not just Assassins Creed to be fair.
Vast maps full of pretty yet dull scenery completely covered in ikons leading to dozens of repetitive quests. All these games are now 60+ hour experiences..it’s frankly exhausting.
I wish the trend was towards tighter leaner games that don’t outstay their welcome. Instead of 20 identical side quests of just have a few of that type. Instead of 200 cookie cutter locations h...
The unfulfilled potential of Xbox exclusives sadly...let’s hope they turn it around this gen.
Repetitive and dull for me. Not enough there to justify an entire game in its own right...more a multiplayer mode to bolt onto an actual game.
Always going to be a niche genre but there were plenty of strong entries last gen...metal gear, dishonoured and deus ex to name a few.
Gaming is better for the variety so hoping for more single player stealth games this gen.
On a 2080ti on pc, as soon as you enable ray tracing the frame rate tanks below 60fps even at 1440p medium settings.
Bearing in mind nvidia cards are way better at ray tracing than amd ones and that the 2080ti has more horse power than the ps5 it would clearly suggest you aren’t getting 60fps with ray tracing.
If you turn ray tracing off though you do get a solid 60fps at 4k high details...so I’d confidently predict this is where they are aiming on ps5...
Liking that controller. Will make a huge difference over having to chose DS4 or move controllers. Quite excited for this.
Played these on the original Xbox back in the day and replaying them on the MCC.
They stand up well after all these years. Still great fun and well worth picking up.
It’s a business not a charity
