Hopefully at least one of them will be made by Rockstar...
Wouldn't be the first time for Battlefield.
Yeah, but this is Call of Duty, it should come with the multiplayer. MW2 remastered was a waste of time without the multiplayer and spec ops, and it'll likely be the same case here. The campaigns are good, but not good enough on their own.
Resistance 2 was the best complete package for a shooter, along with Modern Warfare 2. Even though some people disliked the single player, as an action game I'd say it was better than any of the Call of Duty campaigns, which used to be pretty great.
A co op mode could be great. Let's not automatically assume that any sequel with an added multiplayer mode will be trash.
Dina was pretty bland for such a significant character, and I found her annoying after she revealed she was pregnant right in the middle of Ellie's revenge arc... How dumb can someone be. Jesse was fine, but he didn't really add much to the narrative apart from a cheap death scene.
Not sure if his arc would be worth making DLC for, but if it was based around Tommy then it would continue the revenge theme of the original game extremely well. Not only was he the best ...
This looks amazing.
I think there's room for another entry, but I'd prefer a new cast of characters. That way the writers have the freedom to make the story they want, without further butchering the potential that was set up by the first game.
That doesn't make sense to me. From the sales charts over the course of a year after the game released, it was consistently in the top 10. Yeah not all of them were at full price, but could they really have expected a new IP to do better? The Metacritic score theory sounds more plausible.
This game is an abomination, it's worse than the first in every way.
I thought this was going to be $15, not a full price game. Come on, how hard can it be to make a good 3D platformer?
Of all the things to bash EA for, this remaster doesn't look to be one of them.
No PS4 Pro or Xbox One X enhanced games should advertise 4K, using your logic.
Indeed. You cannot tell me that Godfall, NBA, or even the upcoming Ratchet took more resources to develop than The Last of Us 2.
"Thank you for indulging us on this April Fools' Day." - Literally at the end of this article.
The KFConsole could be real, but this is piece is clearly an April fools joke.
I agree with most of your points, but The Last of Us 2 definitely dragged on a bit.
Luck plays a huge part, as it should. But if you're good at platformers, then it isn't super hard to get good at it, so skill also plays a huge part. I disagree that it's boring, it's provided some of the biggest adrenaline rushes in all of gaming for me.
The one thing that does mostly ruin it is the team games... That's entirely luck based, and even stats say that no one like them. They certainly stopped me from playing it longer than two weeks.
Good to see all those PS+ memberships being put to good use.
There's plenty of videos on YouTube explaining why people disliked the story, if you wanted some insight.
@KyRo - Now that's just blatantly false.
Reviewers didn't have a problem with the Mass Effect 3 ending initially. Even though they were smacked in the face with that monstrosity, they showed their lack of skills as critics when it completely flew over their head. So no, I don't trust the majority of outlets to have a proper opinion on the game.
You didn't deny that it would win best driving game, because you know damn well that it would.
I said I don't believe user awards matter...
I'm certainly not a Nintendo fanboy, BotW however was my favourite exclusive of the last 10 years though. Your comment got a few disagrees because you called it one of the most overrated games ever. You didn't even talk about Nintendo as a company, that has nothing to do with it.
