Or play it as part of their game pass subscription while it's still there? What a weird suggestion - Wait for it to be off the service before you decide to pay to try it.
@darren - The Last of Us 2 looks better, especially after the 60fps patch. I see no reason why Demon's Souls couldn't run on a PS4 at a lower resolution and frame rate.
Anyone who hasn't played Outer Wilds needs to give it a go.
It was already heading that way before he took over. He would have to be doing a disastrous job for that not to be the case.
I'd have given it to Elden Ring too, but like shook said, I don't think it was actually part of E3.
Best game of the previous generation in my opinion.
It could depend on whether it was built from the ground up for the new consoles or not. Flight Simulator was certainly built for high end PCs, and they've got it to work on Xbox One somehow. I don't imagine it would be as hard to scale down a racing game to the previous generation.
Regardless, it's the best looking game on Series X or PS5 in my opinion, so I don't really care how they got it there.
While I believe the Halo portion of the main show was disappointing, that 12 minute multiplayer overview they showed after looked great. It should be a very good game.
Hyped for Psychonauts 2 and Hades coming to Game Pass in a few months. FH5 will be the first great showcase for the Series X. Good times ahead for Xbox from the looks of things.
No, I meant objectively.
Playground Games made one of the best looking games of the previous generation in Forza Horizon 4, they've easily been Xbox's best studio for quite some time now.
Insomniac are a great studio, Rift Apart is in my opinion the first true must own title of the generation. But do you honestly believe that they're capable of making something more technically advanced from a visual standpoint, at 60fps with ray tracing, on s...
Ratchet and Clank looks great for what it is, but it does not look better than what we've seen of Forza Horizon 5. Maybe you prefer the art style, cool, but objectively FH5 is more impressive.
Supporting new hardware with older software... Is supporting old hardware? I'd call that game preservation.
It was so badly cut that it was hard to take in any real gameplay. But they did make sure to get a good shot of that Samurai outfit at the end.
It's free to play, and the presentation made it clear that this is a trailer for season 1. Just look at the video thumbnail - it's exactly how Fortnite advertises it's costumes.
I may have been fine with all this, but the little gameplay we did see was less than impressive. The new Battlefield was mil...
The trailer was more focused on showing off the microtransactions than the actual gameplay. They also dodged showing more campaign footage, that's not a good sign. Disappointing.
"wow"? You're surprised that the far more popular console family has more sales?
"Having a much larger install base is still a great achievement too" - Yes... But as a result, games will sell more on PlayStation. This is all to be expected.
I want to slap anyone that calls it God of war 2
This is news?
Literally no one was fooled by that 2021 timeframe. Slightly disappointing that it's on PS4, but that was to be expected. I'm sure it'll be fine.
That was certainly a negative. But I prefer that over having an annoying protagonist, like the one in 3.
I'm surprised that people seem to dislike Far Cry 5, I thought it was better than 3 and 4. More interesting world, better side content. It was the only one of those three that didn't turn into a chore to beat by the end.
Close, but that title goes to Lawbreakers
