Yeah it's pretty stupid when multiple games per year get a GOTY edition, but I still think they can do better than Director's Cut. Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal, and the Dark Souls games are good examples

Not really a fan of Sony calling the new versions of this and Death Standing Director's Cuts. These aren't movies. Even Kojima disapproves of the name.
The same people "shocked" by this are the same people who mock Xbox when a game only sells 33% on Xbox compared to 66% on PlayStation... Even though that's pretty much the exact ratio of console sales.
So if we assume that 33% of people interested in Hades wanted to play it on Xbox... Then is it really surprising when Xbox gets 7% of the overall physical sales when most Xbox players will play it through Game Pass? Of course not. But PlayStation fanboys will act shocked...
They really stuffed up the Modern Warfare remasters. CoD4 was initially exclusive to that legacy edition of Infinite Warfare, killing it from day one. MW2 was just the campaign...
If they really wanted to do the trilogy right, they should have done a trilogy remaster with all the content. Halo MCC style (ideally with working servers at launch.)

It's not that the performance needed fixing on any of those consoles. It's more to keep gamers who want better performance occupied until the next proper generation, without alienating those who don't want to buy a new one yet. It's too soon for a Switch 2, which is why a Pro would be ideal.
Sackboy was a disgrace to the Littlebigplanet series... and it wasn't visually impressive whatsoever, so I don't know what you're on about. This will be miles better.
Fallen Order would have started development years before Apex released, I assume. But from what I read from their director, I assume they would have liked to make a Titanfall 3 too, and I think it's safe to assume that may not happen any more since it would be mostly irrelevant due to Apex. It restricts them from making competing multiplayer games.
I hope they make more single player stuff like Fallen Order too, but I doubt they'll get a chance to make a new IP with...
The first Titanfall was one of the best multiplayer shooters of its generation, it's a shame that battle royale has killed off potential new games by Respawn and Epic.
What? Deathloop hardly looks anything like Returnal.
I don't know what it is about Deathloop, but I'm already tired of seeing it, so I'll skip this show. It'll probably be a good game though.
The combat was pretty rubbish, the RPG elements were trivial... It just wasn't a good game.
