I dislike doom articles for any system so I enjoyed this immensely. How can people complain about "PlayStation is doomed!" articles hate an article that attacks doom articles?
Edit: I missed how negative this article was towards Sony my first read through. I can see why some people would be angry now. I wasn't looking at it as anti-Sony but anti-doom and gloom articles.
What? Wii U? But this is remote play... That's been around since the original PSP. Now it's just streaming from your computer instead of your PS3.
@Bothebo
I have nothing at all against the Vita. I want it to do great and have amazing games. But there actually are some good games coming out on the 3DS within the next 9 months. Off the top of my head Monster Hunter is releasing in March and Animal Crossing is releasing by June, supposedly. I don't personally care about those games but they sure are popular in Japan. Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Monster Hunter are all system sellers. The Vita needs a game like that. ...
I was thinking the same thing.
I kind of liked the recap of past games.
I know it's an honest mistake but that "which at this juncture are poultry" really made me laugh :).
I agree. No one knows how many Wii Us will be in people's homes by the time this game gets released. If I were a third party I'd be hesitant to invest a bunch of money in the system too. Honestly I didn't expect games already in development to suddenly decide to add the Wii U in the middle of their development cycle.
@YoungPlex
I agree. If the PS4 is a bit less powerful than the next Xbox, I can't see how that would hurt Sony in any way. It saves Sony money, it saves us consumers money, and they'll still get all the multiplats. Just like the 360 this generation, it was weaker than the PS3 but that didn't actually matter for anything other than fanboy bragging rights.
All computers have operating systems, including consoles. As Rainslacker stated above, they would probably just use a modified kernel tailored for the Xbox, not run the whole Windows 8 operating system.
@M_Prime
I'm betting blu-ray. No way would they stick to DVDs! Maybe they'll go with a proprietary blu-ray based drive like Wii U but I'm betting they'll just use a standard one to be able to play blu-ray movies, like the PS3. Though, that means Sony will be getting a couple cents per Xbox since they co-own the blu-ray patent.
Edit: I don't know why consoles don't go with cartridges anymore, even though SD card sizes have caught up. I think w...
The classic argument: I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for one game.
Honestly I get it, I'm just pretending I don't because it's stupid. It's a console war and Bayonetta went over to the enemy, the traitor. That's why the developers should be killed and Nintendo should be killed and impotent rage rage rage. In the end they're all boxes that play video games. If you want to play a video game your box doesn't play, buy a different box. Or...
That Bayonetta 2 one always gets me. How can someone love Bayonetta just enough to yell and cry and write angry threatening letters but not enough to actually buy the video game console that plays it?
Whoa. Platinum is awesome. They sure know how to make a pretty game.
I'm not sure but the title reminds me of Death Jr.
The Wii U controller is faster than my 5 year old HD TV. I never even noticed my TV had lag before I got the Wii U.
And diamond and pearl.
(Edit- Not that those are elements, but they're not all colors)
The people that disagree with you must have thought it was a good pun.
That was sarcastic in case that didn't come across...
This game looks cool.
Is this worth clicking through 5 pages to read? I do so hate the clicking...
I don't know if you follow him on twitter or not but that guy writes like 500 replies to tweets a day. He replies to almost everyone that writes to him. He's always blunt, honest, and doesn't worry about PR. I love the guy.
