I would but these video games aren't going to play themselves.
All analysts flip flop, except the psychic ones, but they don't exist so we're stuck with Pachter.
The article makes a lot of sense that instead of being announced at E3, Sony and Microsoft will have their own events. At E3 they have to fight for the spotlight. They still might announce very close to E3 like the 360 did. Maybe Sony and Microsoft will take a page out of Nintendo's book and start making announcements whenever they want like the Nintendo Direct videos.
I agree. Basically the replies should work like N4G.
Great article. I've been wondering this myself. As the article touched upon, handhelds have been the only place to get new games in classic 2D fashion. Specifically Zelda, Metroid, and Castlevania come to mind. I would love a 3D Zelda on 3DS but I also very much enjoyed Minish Cap, and even Spirit Tracks to an extent. I'd have mixed feelings about the switch to 3D.
I just want to add It's so refreshing to see an article checked for grammar and spelling on N4G. It ...
They gotta get it on 3DS too. I want friend codes to be a thing of the past.
Looking around with street view looks really cool.
Totally agree.
Well these comments were derailed quickly.
With the rise of indie games and all consoles having a built in online store to buy them, we'll be seeing more games like Journey. There will always be room for big companies to release their AAA games but I think console gamers are already open to less than steller graphics if the game itself is good.
I was going to comment about the revenue vs. profit thing. I didn't know about the Japanese stock market. Good info!
Some people read this article and thought it was positive regarding the Wii U, I saw it as negative myself. I don't care though. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the Wii U; same with the Wii. I'm planning on picking up a PS4 for the multiplats the Wii U won't be getting.
@UnholyLight
I half agree with you. I think it will definitely be $400+ (probably more towards the +) but I doubt they'll release another PlayStation for $600. I'd say $499 max. They most likely aren't using the cell again so that should save some money there.
I'd like to point out Japan doesn't have any games in its eShop either. They do tend to get the shaft there.
Great article. The author obviously put a lot of thought into this list. As a person who actually buys games, DRM really ticks me off. As egidem said, the pirates just download the game without the DRM and it only bothers us paying customers.
I enjoyed this article. Very informative. I voted the site up.
I was playing this game last night with some friends. It's not a game I'd play by myself but it's a lot of fun with a couple people.
I didn't realize anyone hated the rumble pak.
I'm betting on a Resident Evil remake, which would be alright I guess. I'd prefer a new game to be honest. If it were Eternal Darkness 2 that would be a definite must buy for me.
Pokemon with realistic graphics would be gruesome.
People are used to numbers after names meaning a new generation. Letters just mean an update. iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S. PSP to PSP Go. GBA to GBA SP. DS to DSi. DSi to DSi XL. It's when you change the number like in the iPhone 5 or PlayStation 3 or even the DS to the 3DS that people realize it's a new product. You can even use any number you want as evidenced by the Xbox 360.
I have my Wii U sitting next to my Wii under my TV and they look nigh identical. That box art wi...
