Open world Spidey needs shown at comic con at the latest imo. Maybe just a small part leading up to a story mission at least to tease more for later.
He might be... Disney owns Marvel now after all.
It's possible we could see a Marvel world in a KH game someday. Or Star Wars even.
Video game awards (or whatever it was changed to). That's basically they're last showing of the year usually. Don't always do anything big there but sometimes we get an announcement from someone.
I don't even care if it's true (that it's false), it's just a cop out response at this point for people.
Part of Trump pr team?
I still expect 2020 for both so it makes sense, if in the highest end of the spectrum of reality. Maybe a bit less than his suggested specs but in 3 years it's possible at least if you ignore price point issue.
Maybe we will see a bigger $500 system day one as 4K should be standard for a long time for consumer range screens and leave room for better vr still if it grows into something real.
12TFLOPS is likely the sweet spot on a realistic level. I'm hoping for a bit more as by 2020 (when I actually expect reveals/releases) that should be lowballing it again. 15-16TF though is basically a pipe dream if they want to future proof it better as I don't see mid gen upgrades as "necessary" since 4K should be the sweet spot for consumer level, until we see more serious future tech than TVs of today anyways. 1080p to 4K is genuinely significant compared to 4-8K on co...
One of the games i wanted but never bought as didn't pick up a Wii U. I'd take a Switch version for sure.
Mid gen upgrades probably started pretty soon after release when they saw 4K prices coming down (1-2 years after at latest).
Next hardware should be new consoles from both companies with native 4K and all other bells and whistles new "generations" bring (new games on their own hardware--you can call it what you want but new games will one day not release on old consoles so in a sense generations will still exist--but probably have some accessories be BC like pc as...
It's supposed to have like 700 cars and they'll be customizable.
If you want unique higher res assets you have to pay for it and it's the hdd that cries. Gears 4 for example with new maps and character/weapon skins packs a huge punch too compared to launch. Games as a service that are played for years will only get bigger as time goes by. Next gen it will be crazy with more non-texture upgrades from scratch.
Combat wise maybe, if it's "only" as good in other ways it's gold standard practically.
32gb is overkill for consoles, even with shared memory. Maybe 24 tops.
CPU is possible, although which Ryzen is still up in the air. They could go with cooling system like the X has to push it higher.
GPU... Vega is releasing this year and I expect them to use this tech by 2020. 12tflops minimum imo as today's high end will be much cheaper by then and even 12 will be lowballing by then most likely. They might make it a bit more but doubt we will s...
They need to make a completely new ip, preferably something Nintendo lacks.
A genuine coop/competitive shooter in other words. Splatoon is okay but Nintendo could use a little more gritty kind of fps imo that fills that Goldeneye/Perfect Dark sort of void that they've had for years now. If any of their studios could make that happen, it's probably Retro.
It's not really that generations are going to disappear, it's that it's changing in how they're defined.
A generation is defined, in a sense, by the games that can be played during the hardware cycle. So going forward games (old games that is) will essentially move with you in terms of being BC more like pc which isn't defined by generations so much as what hardware is required to play new games.
So basically, it's going to work l...
I don't see most big publishers doing it either, but many have smaller studios under them that can (like Ubisoft). Most games won't be big budget titles though (even Mario Rabbids will be a rarity in other words).
Indies that focus on its strengths could see genuine success in large part because it's less supported by bigger titles (as i know on ps4/One I'm very selective about Indies since AAA games get most of my time--but Indies when I can take them with...
Local coop should see a revival, in smaller doses, if the Switch succeeds.
It's perfect for smaller games that were the best for coop: side scrollers, beat em ups, and top down ARPGs that were quite common until last gen. I'd love a Diablo like game on the Switch, Xmen legends/MUA style beat em up ARPGs, etc. Lego games sort of kiddified beat em ups sadly and replaced the legends/mua games but I'm hoping we might see a MCU or DCU version one day still.
After e3 and people noticed Prime didn't say Retro a lot of people started wondering what they might be doing. Naturally some went straight for DKC since it's what they've done lately but what Nintendo needs is innovation and new markets.
I just started thinking "what if", what nintendo really lacks, and what the Switch's strengths are. Coop seems to be a huge focus with Switch (even Mario was shown with Cappie coop option) and local multiplayer ...
Nintendo will help revive it with the Switch I think (couch coop especially). What they need is for third parties to support it as well as it's really what makes it special. It's literally a 2 person device right out of the box with 4 barely above the price of 2 on the others (via joycons).
With Metro Prime not saying retro is making it, I'm hoping they're making a totally new coop Shooter IP as it's the genre that Nintendo lacks most and I think Retro...
Future tech during next gen shouldn't see a big change on par with availability of 4K though. On consumer level 4K is pretty much all you need. Anything higher is pure entertainment or corporate based (theater size screens, conferences, commercial advertising spaces like NYC, etc). 8K will be overkill for anything not on that scale until we reach "sci-fi" level where you can have entire walls project whatever you want on them like in the movies. Maybe pc for UHD+ multi scree...
Crackdown never had a campaign in the same sense most games do. It had a VO and mostly trash enemy "criminal profile" on bosses and that was pretty much it. I'm not expecting anything different here (so not expecting cutscenes and such that actually tell a story like most games have).
It's basically a city wide playground to just have fun in, doing whatever you want from the get go. It could use (going by originals anyways) more side stuff though outsid...
