One of the best campaigns for a shooter this generation. Solid multiplayer. Terrible release window.
If they go for a 3 then they need to plan its release better. An early Fall-Holiday or late Spring.
Ghost is basically my most anticipated game now and we don’t know much of anything about it.
It’s trailer and dev diary hyped me the same way original reveals for AC, ME, Bioshock, Uncharted/TLOU, Gears, RDR, etc did last gen. It just sounds like one of those serious generation defining new IPs.
They “could” look better on the x if developed for it, but you also have to consider all X exclusives are bound by base system which is marginally weaker than the basic PS4. Granted they could just run closer to 900p (like many third party games that are visually intensive) and X could get a bigger boost/enhancement from there.
Unfortunately we will never know as MS apparently isn’t big on these sort of games anymore anyways. As much as I love Gears, and even halo still, ...
Sony has certainly been killing it and has made, or at least helped bring, some of the most generation defining games out since the PS4 launched.
I like my Xbox but wish MS had done as good of a job as Sony or even as good of a job as they did last gen with helping introduce us to games like ME, Bioshock, etc. MS’s new IPs have been “good” but nothing generation defining (in a good way).

Watch the last few seconds over and over, it seems to be the only true gameplay while rest are inengine cutscene style footage.
The 2s of him jumping down on an enemy in other words ;) Those snippets seem like they could be genuine gameplay teases.
I’m seriously hoping we see more of this game at PSX, more than any other game actually.
Skin tones especially look very flat. The game world has more polygons but other than that not much was really improved on a noticeable level. Not a fan of hair color change either.
True which is why I HAvent one it before myself. Egypt though and more of an emphasis on rpg like design could lure me back.

It’s fine and if you want a mobile FIFA than all the better. That’s really the only reason you’d want it on the Switch anyways.
PS and Xbox will have better online and less technical issues/better performance though. Switch is for fans that just want to play soccer anywhere and everywhere.
2020 for PS imo, 2021 maybe for Xbox. It lines up with major Worldwide Anniversaries for both (25y for PS and 20th for Xbox—Japan got PS1 a year earlier though but I think the extra year would be better in the end).
No... it looks good but not the best by any means. Played it on both and even on pc it isn't the best.
I could argue Knack 2 looks better in places and it's not even quite as pretty as R&C and definitely no Uncharted. Some third party games even trump QB.
I'm not knocking it as I actually enjoyed QB but it's not the best by any means. Top 10-20 maybe if you really sat down and compared games fully, if you do it now before more games...
QB looks great, but it's pretty physics intensive with the way time powers work which is probably part of why it's lower res (cpu probably holding it some depending on how they coded it all--anyone remember dedicated physx gpu card option on pc?)
Dedicated next gen Xbox probably could fine, but will they still have framerate and resolution limits on old games? I doubt we get patches for every old game next gen so they'll probably run like they do now, if BC works as we assume it will with architecture of today. Built in console limits likely won't magically disappear but it likely could at least theoretically run it at 4k/60 next time around as it should be a beefier system outside of gpu too (a new CPU chip, not just clock,...

I think it is more like soft rubber than plastic in Mario Rabbids, much like a dog chew toy or what younger kids might play with (or if you're my age: Trolls, My Little Ponys and quite often the head of a good portion of action figure toys from the 80s)..

It's basically a guarantee that it will happen as the X is not expected to sell as much as the S and the PS4/Switch outsell it already.
It's a niche product and will sell for diehards and some new users but it's not like it will change the whole game.
I like their design choice of character freedom and exploration already.
We know there will be a story of course but I love open world games with diverse regions and things that grab your attention just asking to be explored on your own. Skyrim did that for me more than most last gen and games like Horizon, Zelda, W3 etc have just improved on that model. To see another big Sony Dev doing the same has me excited, especially given it’s setting.
