This demo doesn't mean there isn't going to be a 60 fps mode. It's quite probable that they are just showing the most graphically appealing version for people to see at the event. All their other games have had 60 fps, so it seems unlikely they would skip that when they know so many consumers expect it.
We'll see when they make an official statement closer to launch.
Ya know what I find really hypocritical about this argument is where were all the "games should be on everything" people when Microsoft was buying these publishers for no other reason than to be able to keep games off PlayStation.
The only reason they are putting these games on PlayStation is because xbox is such a trainwreck, it has nothing to do with them wanting more people to play them.

That is huge, PlayStation is doing a great job of pulling Chinese gamers off their phones with huge gacha releases and games like this. They better ship more consoles over there for Phantom Blade Zero because that game looks amazing, even better than Wukong to me.

Darth, it's unlikely that there will be larger than a 2tb drive if at least 4 isn't available today and two has been the max for 3-4 years maybe even longer. The fact of the matter is the reason normal NVME drives are the size they are is so they can physically fit more chips on the card.

I don't think the moves they are making really indicate that xbox is profitable. I think are doing everything they can to try to become profitable. They own a ton of publishers and they are trying to pay for all that development cost on the back of Game Pass which we know has never met their subscriber goals and is about a third of what Microsoft said ...

I actually skimmed through that video it's a process. First you need a half dozen tools most people don't have, then you have to take the whole console apart and put it back together. The cost of the type of SSD is inflated so your not even getting a great deal because it's such an uncommon form factor. And looking closer they are all way slower than actual gen 4 nvme, the fastest I saw was 5000 and the largest size is 2tb. (and that's not even getting into the PC part)
Xbox is being sold at a loss, xbox has been run through subsidization for the last 10+ years, game pass is losing money and they just spent around 100b in acquisitions.
