This is just BS spin, they paid to have the game on game pass, that's it. It's like saying I funded the game when I bought it, sure, it's true but that would be presenting the information in a misleading way.
This is a Microsoft shill take on what happened.
I'm sure you didn't "coach" that answer out of them... I mean, you seem unbiased and above board in your "journalism"...
@darthv72
PS5 has 60 fps games.
And PSSR upscaling will negate frametime loss from increased post processing.
Every first party, second party and major third party game has a 60 FPS mode.
It's flat out ridiculous to think that PlayStations engineers who can make a console wouldn't have considered something as simple as frametimes.
Digital foundry will be proven wrong, I am 100% sure, just l...
@Hofstaderman
But remember, the PS5 Pro won't be able to have 60 fps...
Sliders no longer exist I guess.
Have you ever head of digital foundry?
"In principle, I see nothing wrong with the notion of bringing two consoles to market separated by their GPU power." "Xbox Series S is definitely a great idea - and perhaps the right console at the right time."
They were also fully on board with "sliders".
If they make it, it will almost certainly use a SSD.
You are in an article from a dev criticizing the series s that isn't Larian.
I'll just cut and paste what I had to point out to another user who couldn't accept that the Series S was a developmental nightmare a month or so ago.
Remedy Entertainment: The developers behind Control and Alan Wake expressed concerns about the Series S's limited RAM hindering game performance and development
Larian Studios: Creators of Baldur'...
"Back in the Xbox 360 and PS3 days, developers were very vocal about what made the PS3 difficult to develop for while today, we mostly hear vague statements. I believe it is only Larian Studios that told us that the series S made it difficult for them to add split screen."
Many developers have said that the Series S has caused development issues, many specifically pointing out the limitations of the memory.
"I believe it is only Larian Stud...
"Let me ask you this, do you think there’s no way this maybe could be a thing?"
Yes, I think there is no way that could be true.
Do you think there is no way that in a country of 1.5 Billion people that 7 - 8 million people (on top of 2-3million people outside of China) would buy a heavily advertised game?
What you're saying is so much more convoluted and unlikely than the option that people simply bought it.
I am not going to entertain conspiracy when the when the logical answer is simply that the game sold well because people bought a heavily publicized game.
You actually doubt that the game is selling well in China?
It's based on Journey to the West one of the most popular folklore stories in China and Asia and they have billions of potential customers. And, it's not just Steam, PS5 has sold out across the country and when I went to the store page which is sorted by revenue Wukong is number 1 even beating out Fortnite. And nothing started and stopped at the same time, the game was put online then everyone started play...
I don't think the issue is Microsoft dropping support, it's publishers dropping support.
I am 100% confident that the PS5 Pro will offer the best console experience with the highest resolution and the highest possible frame rates.
If I was you I'd be more concerned with whether the series s can play the game at all and if it gets delayed or canceled like so many games because of it.
"I'm obviously not smart enough for this conversation."
So, please stop posting the same misinformation.
PS6 and PS7 will have more powerful hardware AND upscaling...
@Number1TailzFan
"but it's not a substitute for better hardware power."
Actually, that is EXACTLY what the point of upscaling is.
It helps lower hardware run at higher framerates than the amount of raw hardware power it would take to run it directly. Getting double framerates through upscaling isn't uncommon at all.
DLSS 3 in simulations can more than triple framerate.

You go out of your way to post the same thing in every article about the Pro. So, it comes across like you're the one losing sleep over it.
But factually DLSS and FSR and upscaling in general whole purpose is to increase framerate by upscaling a lower resolution render.
And I trust PlayStation Engineers know what they are doing more than some clowns who make videos on the internet. Digital Foundry was also bragging about 12% for the SX yet PS5 has co...
@NotoriousWhiz
They weren't trying to promote the Pro in that video... The only thing they have tried to do for the Pro and any PlayStation hardware is damage it's sales.
@Number1TailzFan
Every time you say the same crap even though a half dozen different people have tried to explain to you what upscaling is.
You are purposely spreading misinformation, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised since digital foundry started the BS.
45% performance improvement in rasterized rendering thanks to a larger GPU and faster memory
Hugely improved ray tracing architecture delivering 2-3x speedup on average, with peaks of 4x

Test what? Are you going to tell me how I brought this upon myself again lol...
You want to be humiliated again? Ya know like that time you had to hide from the site for weeks?
And again, they didn't help pay for the game, Capcom can fund its own games. Microsoft paid for it to be on game pass, the games development started before Microsoft got involved. Microsoft did not fund the game they paid for it to be on game pass. This is blatantly trying to...
