Xbox fans or PlayStation fans?
Because let's be honest, if there is a next xbox console it needs a literal miracle to be successful.
I am pretty sure they wish they didn't need to put games on PlayStation to actually get enough sales to TRY to make xbox profitable.... I am also pretty sure they wish they didn't have to spent 100b just to TRY to stay relevant..
You're not going to have an easy time spinning putting their biggest games on PlayStation into a positive.
I have said it before, no one cares about Sunset Overdrive. Insomniac is making games that will sell more in their first week than Sunset Overdrive sold in its lifetime.
It's going to sell even worse on xbox. They may lose more money porting it to xbox.
The game is really good, probably my favorite boss fights of any game I can think of.
But, I highly encourage you to not buy it and further prove that porting games to xbox is a waste of money for developers.
When it sells less than 20% of the PlayStation version on xbox do you think every site under the sun will write a story about how bad its sales are?
Ya know like they wrote about 3.5m sales in it's first week on PlayStation even after Sqaure said it met their expectations.
Or do you think the whole sales thing was just Microsoft shills trying to disrupt the relationship between PlayStation and Square?

PS+ 17 games this month unlike game pass which only offered 7 almost half of them I got years ago on PS+,.and the rest are indies from companies I haven't even heard of.
And the Sony Pictures movie collection will probably get updated with new movies and shows from Crunchy Roll too.
Not bad for a subscription that costs significantly less game pass even before they raised the prices.
At least when you buy the basic PS+ tier you actually get new games often including AAA games.

Xbox hasn't gotten any new games for their basic tier since July and before that it was in August 2023. And if that wasn't bad enough the games they got were just recycled from game pass.

Microsoft shouldn't have bought studios they weren't going to support, and lets not forget this was one of 4 studios they closed down.
This is a great month for me, I have almost bought Wild Hearts a ton of times and same for Cult of the Lamb.
Some really good variety here, and some serious playtime on offer here with all the RPG's. Good luck finishing all these games in a month heh.

You need to prove that the console is coming in 2026.
All you have to do is provide an official statement that Microsoft made prior to today that they are making a console in 2026. If you can't do that than 2028 is the only statement that they have made and they made it under oath in a US court of law...

Microsoft said they are releasing another console in 2028 in court. That was the official statement, this is a rumor, and yes it was from a questionable source who had previously complained that Microsoft wasn't releasing a Pro.

When FFXVI released there were 25m PS5's.
When Final Fantasy XV released there was around 50m PS4 and 30m xbones.
The whole sales argument was very misleading. Square themselves even pointed this out, I 100% believe that the game met their sales expectations. And since then it has sold reasonably well even being brought back into the charts when Rebirth released.
