A newly announced Square Enix release is skipping xbox.
It was great, I enjoyed the story and the boss fights were really the highlight.
I mean, it was always timed exclusive.
The truth here is it sounds like the rumor that it was going to be announced were untrue. It sounds like the same thing as what happened when the Pro was basically confirmed then a fanboy who was mad PlayStation was getting a Pro and not xbox started a rumor about 2026 for an xbox console.
Here you had it announced that Microsoft games were coming to PlayStation, then a fanboy started a rumor that a FFXVI announceme...
To be fair they added it after the service launched, it was a bonus perk. It wasn't hidden behind any additional costs, it was added as a free perk to existing users.
The production value on these games is higher than pretty much anything else, especially for people who also enjoy the out of game content that is provided.
If you haven't already try HSR, you'll probably enjoy that game as well.
He wasn't talking to you, he was replying to me. You butted in first with your unrelated FFXVI comment.
And he was right.
Microsoft wouldn't be moving away from consoles it they were selling then as fast and PlayStation and Nintendo, if they had sold 100m+ last gen and were on pace to sell 100m+ this gen too they wouldn't be moving away from the console.
Game Pass itself was a product of their own poor hardware and software sales last gen.
Are they moving away from consoles, yes absolutely. But, lets not put the cart before the horse, there is a reason they are movin...

Don't be so fixated on FFXVI it's an irrelevant deflection.
What we're talking about here is the continued delays and games skipping xbox specifically Phantom Blade Zero. And that people on xbox need to actually purchase games and generate profit for the developers to continue to justify future games coming to the platform.
"Not my problem at all, that's MS issue. They put themselves in this mess they ...

FF16 was always a timed exclusive, that was known before the game even released.
And just for the record multiplatform doesn't necessarily mean xbox. Switch for example has the largest share of Square exclusives by far.
And you can say whatever you want, but the writing is on the wall about the future of xbox. Xbox is clearly becoming less of a priority for developers not more.
Yeah ZZZ is great, I really like Honkai: Star Rail too.
The turn based combat in HSR is really fun and with turn based combat the differences in the characters and teams is even more pronounced than ZZZ. Plus the idea of flying through space to different planets on a space train to have adventures with your adoptive family is really appealing.
It doesn't matter the game though Hoyo does such a good job with the characters and story all the games are...
Yeah, she's really good.
I am using her with Anby who stuns, dazes and counters the enemies into C6 (got lucky) Nicole whos blackhole gathers the enemies causes then to take 15% more crit reduces their defense by 35% and lowers their anomaly res by 20% into Zhu Yuan who just melts everything with ether dps.
I'm thinking about trying to replace Anby with Qingy but there are some other characters I am more interested in.
How about xbox owners just support the devs and pay for it. Maybe if they did that so many devs wouldn't be so willing to delay games or skip the platform...
This game has been at multiple PlayStation shows showing game play from the console.
But if this reassures people the game runs fine on PlayStation so be it.
It's not Microsoft moving away from consoles it's gamers moving away from xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and PC are all doing fine.
And xbox fans only playing whats on game pass and not buying games doesn't help.
Whenever something with one of these developers Microsoft bought if they do something bad it's always the developers but if they do something good it's always Microsoft.
Microsoft owns Activision, Microsoft shut down this project.
This isn't the first game using UE5 on PS5 ya know.
You keep saying things about PlayStation that just make xbox look worse by comparison.
That's probably for the best, the only thing anyone should ever redeem is the store credit. Though I see they have some redeems for NBA, Genshin, HSR and Destiny that cost $5 plus tax normally, so buying those with points would be a tax free way to buy them.
If this is anything it's them listening to the complaints about the games which were often cheaper on sale than the price they could be redeemed with for points.
@Neonridr
I'd rather buy $500 worth of games than an xbox.
Even if I wanted to play xbox games I could play them on my PC. (or my PlayStation apparently)
And I don't think PlayStation cares about me but at least they don't openly lie to my face constantly.
I feel like that is intentional to give it a slightly off/uncanny valley effect.
