PS5 Pro uses AMD's "next gen" RDNA 4 RT...
Congrats on your Pro, I can't wait to get mine!
Zeref almost daily games get announced on PS5 that aren't on xbox.
Next year is Wolverine, Death Stranding 2, Ghosts of Yotei, Ai Limit, Venus Vacation PRISM: DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme, Infinity Nikki, Phantom Blade 0.
And those were just a few big games that were on my mind, there are tons of other console/exclusive games that I am not listing.
BTW, what xbox games do you think will come to PlayStation next year too?
Ok I'll compare it to a $179 controller. (on sale for $141)

Yes, that PlayStation Portal has been extremely successful and wasn't a missed opportunity at all.
Not having to buy a new library of games is great for the consumer, and doesn't put any burden on the developers.
And if a person has a properly configured network playing on the Portal is basically indistinguishable from playing on the console. And even playing remotely over the internet offers a similar experience to streaming services.
Huh, I have had plenty of great games to play that weren't on xbox like Astrobot, Helldivers 2, Pacific Drive, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Stellar Blade, Black Myth Wukong, Zenless Zone Zero.
I have had plenty of games to keep me busy on my PS5.
You keep bringing up this CPU thing, you repeatedly argued with me when I said the PS5 Pro would play "graphics" modes at 60 FPS, yet this game and many others play the previous 30 FPS modes at 60 fps and with graphical enhancements and with higher resolutions for many of the games.
And this game had zero ray tracing on any consoles, on PS5 Pro it now has full high res ray tracing support and not 1/4 res limited to reflections like most games that have RT on base ...
The not maxed argument is the dumbest argument out of all of the arguments.
Dynamic resolution scaling wouldn't be needed if the PS5 wasn't being maxed, nor would any game not hold 60 fps 100% of the time. And if a game has a PC version that has better post processing or other features then there is obviously room for more power.
If ANYTHING was ever maxed there would never been need for more powerful GPU's and CPU's or faster RAM or anyth...
He's only right when he says ridiculously obvious things like "there will be another Halo game" duh...
He is the most unreliable "leaker" that people for some reason take seriously.
If you don't want a premium console at a premium price then buy the Slim, it's not going anywhere.
You think there have been more people defending the Pro than bashing it?!?
Where was the criticism of the people endlessly bashing it?
No, they don't mandate that and they didn't mandate that with the PS4 Pro. Developers can chose from a variety of upgrades on the base version then PlayStation will give them the "Pro Enhanced" tag.
But again, the primary benefit Pro owners will see is in games that use dynamic resolution scaling which will natively have higher resolutions and more stable frame rates.
There are currently over 8500 games made with dynamic resolution sca...
There are over 8500 games that use dynamic resolution scaling that will run at higher resolutions, and games will also have a more stable frame rate with no updates needed.

It's not even that at all.
As I pointed out above, the media was quick to run with this 8 year story even though the studio only existed for 6 years. And as I also pointed out who would fund a new studio with less than 100 people and zero track record 200m, that's the budget of EA, Ubisoft, Activision and PlayStations biggest games, no one is realistically going to give this studio that kind of money. It's simply common sense.
It's not ...
I love these two games, and no disrespect for the original which I played on my PS1 and several times since then, I would much rather play the remakes. The game play is just so much fun and the characters just have so much more life and personality plus it has the modern sensibilities that are hard to give up.
It's a shame that they haven't found the success SE wanted, and while people of course want to blame PlayStation I feel like Final Fantasy just doesn't ...
There are over 8500 games that use dynamic resolution scaling and struggle to hold fps that out of the box will utilize its power.
Games are already lined up for patches and more games that haven't been announced yet will use it.
But of course talking about what it actually does won't get as many clicks.
Ever since they put the series on xbox it's been nothing but a clown show.
It's sad to see these developers who used to brag and have pride that they made games about Yakuza that actual Yakuza members would want to play now just make crap for American kids...
I am so over it...
I mean, you are determined to say the longest possible amount of time you can get away with... No matter how unrealistic that may be...

DLSS is upscaling...
The base resolution for what Rimeskeem is talking about is only 1080p then upscaled through DLSS to 4k, and it needs frame gen.
People need to stop talking about base resolution, it's irrelevant with modern AI upscaling.
Look at FF7R, with PSSR the image quality looks BETTER than native resolution and as we get more side by side comparisons you'll see the same for other PSSR enabled g...
