Console power is not a linear figure, 2tf is not twice as much as 1tf.
Again you claim it's not 33.5 tf, you prove it.
DF and all the other tech sources say it's 33.5, you prove all of them wrong.
TheKingKratos
You prove that it's not 33.5 TF, and not just your opinion, you find a credible person saying it's not 33.5.
And Just a FYI 7800xt which you guys keep saying it's like is 37 TFLOPs.
I should think you guys would know that considering how much you talk about it trying to make the Pro look bad.
TheKingKratos
It is 33.5 TF, this isn't anything new, this has been known for months, use google yourself.
Factually it's a 33.5 TF APU that uses RDNA 4 RT and has PSSR.
Plus it has all the same co-processors that the PS5 has that helped it maintain a lead over the technically more powerful series x.
Quit trying to compare it to other GPU's it's not any of that, it is its own device and should be judged as such.
Do they really have these $2000 gpu's or are they series s owners who can't make any xbox based argument so they pretend they have $2000 gpu's...
I'm leaning towards the later.
Great game, liked the multiple choice and different routes.

I made an accurate statement about the effect of PSSR, then you made a inaccurate statement trying to discredit me, repeatedly. This isn't about me, it's about what you did that caused this discussion.
Stranger that you were so determined to discredit the video saying what PSSR was doing, especially if you actually ordered a PS5 Pro that your not just going to scalp.
Microsoft shouldn't own Diablo, that's the problem.
"Although that might not always be the case for every game, just this game in particular."
Why are you so instant on trying to prove that PSSR isn't making the textures look better?
PSSR is always going to do the same thing, in fact the algorithm will improve over time same as DLSS and FSR have.
DF factually says that it's PSSR that is causing the textures to look more sharp and clean, and we have seen the same thing in multiple games now. I don't understand the need to downplay what PSSR is doing.
This is what AI upscaling does, and it's significant and noticeable in side by side comparisons.
"My point is there are different levels of Filtering and Aliasing, go look at a PC and go into the settings. They go up and increase detai...
No, it's because PSSR and AI upscaling technically has no limit. The AI solution doesn't stop working when it renders a texture that is equal to any specific resolution target. It simply upscales to whatever its maximum potential is. Which as we can see here (and in FF7R) can potentially be clearer and more defined than the native resolution.
This is what people have been doing by using AI to upscale textures in older games, AI can improve textures beyond what the n...
The Pro mode with PSSR has much sharper and clearer looking textures then the Fidelity mode, which I should point out is 4k native.
Everyone was so wrapped up in the hype campaign Epic ran for UE5 (especially certain Microsoft fans who had to defend HB2 as the best thing ever even though it ran like crap comparatively) that they completely ignored the other half of the equation which is performance. UE 5 has had crap performance in part because it's been trying to do it's lighting through software emulation.
Now that it's using hardware it may actually be a decent engine. It still has trou...
Why are you talking about balanced mode? The game has a 60 fps target performance mode.
"Performance mode targets 60fps, as you’d expect, and often hovers just below that target in general gameplay."
In performance mode PS5 Pro should hold 60 nearly always.
Starfield sold less than 3m by the end of the first year. It's hard to imagine that was enough to recoup it's 8 year development cycle. Nor did it increase game pass subscriber counts in any significant way.
I think what he's hinting at is that future games will have even less content.
Game Pass isn't going to be able to support the type of super long development time games that Bethesda makes.
If Starfield was the test run, things aren't looking great.
This is unfortunate though it doesn't affect me.
PlayStation didn't even really have ads to begin with, it was just clickbait that people fell for.
All it did was put the information you normally get when you "follow" a game, on the games main page.
It didn't bother me either, It was basically just a news feed. For HSR and ZZZ I would like if they put their trailer videos on the games page. It would make them easier to find and I assume a lot of people who play the games don't ev...

It was fixed (changed back to the way it was before) before this article was even posted.
People don't like to give Sony credit for anything.
But the fact of the matter is they invented hardware upscaling with the PS4 Pro, they were two years ahead of DLSS and 4 years ahead of FSR.
There was an article about the design process of the PS5 Pro and part of it was about how PSSR improved during development, it's not unlikely that it will be updated on the PS5 Pro to work even better as time goes on.
