Please, it was so obviously bias it's pathetic. MS propaganda machine. If you don't believe there is money floating around these reviews you are blind. Just look at Halo games. They always pull off high scores for doing the exact same thing. Enter KZ and doing the same thing is it's biggest sin.
Don't worry it's not. More like an 8.
Stupid review by a stupid site. Hey look at us we gave KZ the lowest rating we are so hardcore! Watch them give Ryse a 9.5.
Honestly, most of the reviews I have read say really good things about the core game and just nit pic stuff like long downtimes, flying sequences, and plat forming areas. The funny thing is GG tried to do some different things and got nailed for it. Game reviewers sit down and play these games in one sitting, so these sequences might annoy them whereas they might be perfectly acceptable to your average gamer. I am not trying to rewrite these reviews, I am just saying people should not cancel ...
Haha sounds like someone at activision made a dumb mistake and locked the game in at 720p. Read the story people, the review copies were correct. This makes no difference whatsoever unless you don't update.
Looks like this game is a matter of opinion. To some people it is inconsistent, to others varied. To some it's a nice change of pace, to others it is silly. I haven't played the game yet, but I really think there are several reasons for scores lower than expectations. First, the fps genre is just over done. It's hard not to feel like you've done this before when there are literally hundreds of fps games. So I completely ignore that as a reason for a lower score. Secondly, the ...
Honestly, their review scores should not even factor in at metacritic.
It seems like the earliest reviews were the most negative. The ones coming in later have been pretty consistent 8 or above.
There is nothing wrong with difficult as long as skill can make up for it. If it is related to controls or poor design that is different. Considering this is the globe though, it is likely that they just have no skill. Most reviews are coming in around 8. I'm okay with that.
These reviews are over critical, its getting hit hard because that is the trend for fps games these days. It's an over done genre. If last gen was not so chocked full of fps games this would likely see a score between 8 & 9.
Because bullets don't go through walls? I mean, sure they didn't have to do the locator thing, but I'm going to guess there is good reason for it. You are one guy taking on lots of enemies. There is no back up in most of this game. My guess is you'll need some sort of advantage. I personally like the more tactical shooters myself. KZ2 and KZ3, tactical they were not, even though I still think they were great games. This reminds me of Crysis 2, which I thought was a blast, exce...
You know what, I'm looking at this video and I see very, very few jaggies. They are practically not there. Even thin objects in the distance have a little aliasing, but it's hardly noticeable. Yes, graphics do matter, this game looks gorgeous. Love the foliage on the rocks, so much detail.
Knowing Kojima it could be a completely off the wall, shock and all, Japanese style announcement like "MGSV now only on Pwaystayshwan!" Ha ha, just kidding, at best some exclusive PS4 content, but likely not even that.
Haha I guess I'm not the only one. Off Friday through Tuesday.
Can't disagree more, having play the previous entries this game looks vastly different. I would almost say this isn't quite a sequel but a reinvention of Killzone. Since it is a launch title all those 360 to ps4 owners, and thee are quite a few, will likely pick this up as well.
I just hope we don't see a bunch of 'shock' reviews where it's given a lousy accord because, "it doesn't do anything new." Yet the same game reviewer will turn around and give Halo a 9.5 and say it's the same formula and that's a good thing. Killzone and resistance games both suffered for this last gen. I think both of them were a breath of fresh air compared to halo.
I have a Wii U. It's a huge disappointment. Nintendo is not even bringing a knife to the gunfight, they're coming empty handed. It's like they have lost all inspiration. They are holding on to the past too strongly and have no apparent plan for the future. It is painful to watch the big N go down this way.
Sad that Insomniac is going with MS for at least one exclusive title. I wish they would have at least went multiplatform. I guess MS needed a feather in their cap. Too bad Insomniac did not perform too well on the PS3. Sony May have bought them if that had. Love the R&C games for ps3 but this looks like a PS+ candidate to me. That or I will just get it for 10 bucks down the road. Shame it's not a full game.
Eww. I guess, can't lame this one on the xb1 though. This is totally on infinitity ward.
I'm not terribly disappointed with KZ reviews except the bias ones they are fairly good. Even most of the 7s only nitpick a few points of the game while still confirming it is a solid shoot experience most of the time. Knack though, is disappointing. I have the knack bundle from amazon, but now I am wishing I had not gotten that. Let's not forget these game reviewers play games all day and play straight through in most cases. They are likely to have higher expectations from the PS4 th...
