Greaaaaaat. More unnecessary superlative to ultimately overhype the game.
@KRUSSIDULL:
Judging by the killzone fanboys, I'm happy there are fewer fanboys. We should just let the PS3 fanboys sully the name of Sony. They are just so good at it.
I'd like to say this is a snark free zone, but a) it's N4G and b) you're a Linux user and therefore incapable of anything else.
These things ebb and flow. It's just the Sony highs are not as big as their lows these days.
Get over it. The worlds ill cannot be traced to Microsoft throwing money at things. In fact, since you believe that so strongly, you see Microsoft's money where there is none. You probably believe the government is run by lizard people.
P&T are troll slayers. They have slain fundamentalist trolls, conspiracy theory trolls, and supernatural trolls. This guy is going to be a punching bag.
This is going to be a watershed moment in the fight for games legitimacy. Jack Thompson will receive the most accurate intro ever:
"And then there's THIS asshole."
They are going to rip him a new one for trying to profit off of school shootings.
You can compare first and third person shooters, but I don't think on rails shooters compare as well. It's like Apple, Oranges, and Green Beans. It's not even a fruit.
Yeah, and it's kinda annoying. I'm one of those crazy people who play games for fun, not to get stressed out.
I think this is a pretty honest review, but everyone is entitled to their opinions. I agree whole heartedly with his statement that "It's not a Halo killer, but like Rocky versus Apollo Creed Killzone 2 would last the fifteen rounds." Whether you like Halo of not, that's a complement.
Sure, Killswitch did lay the ground work, but I think Gears' roadie run and cover transitions did a lot to refine the model. Instead of just "cover", now there are mechanisms to help you move from cover to cover.
I think we can agree that third person is important for doing cover right, which is why I think Killzone 2 didn't do it quite right.
Usually, I'd agree whole heartedly, but there is no evidence this is a PSN or even a PS3 issue. This could just as easily be an Ubisoft mistake.
Really cool title. Also, try hooking up the voice commands. They don't work as well Endwar, but they are nice for quick commands.
Call me crazy, but if a store says they don't sell T and M games to underage buyers... why shouldn't we hold them to it?
Now that I hear the bill, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. It's a much better alternative to some of the other bills I have seen pushed. For once, this is a bill I could get behind.
Totally deserves the recognition it has recieved. It made me a MGS fan... previously a complete hater.
Funny, cause they are all playing the same game...
No, Sessler just gave them the courage to stand up to the Killzone 2 bullies.
The problem isn't with consistency, because if that's the case, you are still denying the possibility that Gears of Wars 2 was better than Killzone 2. And on top of that, you would be denying their right to have an opinion.
Review scores are what they are. You can't change it, aside from becoming a reviewer yourself.
One thing I would like everyone to get behind, whether we like Killzone 2 or not, is that we are sick of the hype. Just give us good games worth playing, and we can decide for ourselves.
Any, would it be too much to ask Sony fans and Microsoft fans to band together... cause the Wii is going to town on us both in unit sales...
@Casey: The hype for Haze didn't die down until after everyone knew it was a flop. How do we know which games to hype and which ones are &qu...
You mean it's not a negative? No, this is Sony puffing out their chest again. They are going to get reamed again for offering faulty comparisons.
$50 over one year, $100 over two years, and $200 over four years doesn't "add up over time". It's the exact same, unless you lose your job and suddenly start making less each year.
If you can handle $50 a year, you can can handle $250 over five years. It's the same thing.
I've give you 5 agrees and 3 more bubbles if I could...
