Maybe you should try developing games. It's already pretty difficult. There is nothing "lazy" about a dev who can get a game... ANY game published.
Honestly, I can't take you seriously. Nothing should be easy? Ok, if you say so. I know a nice Amish couple whose son ran away from home because his life was too hard. They are having a bout of empty nest and, by your comments, you can't be any older than he is. You would fit in nicely.
I half agree. You should pay for it if you think it's worth it.
But either way, you should do what you think benefits you. But saving money isn't the only thing that matters, or you would be playing on a used Atari from the garage sale down the street.
It's not biased. Perhaps it is you who is biased.
OR you could... ya, know... stop being obsessive compulsive pricks who have to rank everything.
I call bullsh*t. Microsoft doesn't collect that kind of data. "Offensive Sexual Orientation" is not a feedback option.
I can't stand people who use their situation as an excuse for bad things happening to them. Anytime a cab doesn't stop for her, it must be because she's a lesbian. And to say that MS has an anti-homosexual agenda is supremely ignorant.
See you guys online when Gamefly gets around to sending it to me.
Ahhem...
Let me enlighten you. Your title has "The Reason" in it, a song by Hoobastank. It's probably an scheduled batch process to remove music videos.
Stop flogging Microsoft for something Microsoft didn't do. This conspiracy theorizing has got to stop.
That would be roughly equivalent to Xbox Live. I could see that possibly.
But these numbers are just fanboy vitamins. The more you eat them, the stronger a fanboy you become.
Someone should tell Sony... and Microsoft for that matter... to stop feeding the trolls.
I totally understand that Judas. But think about what this is. This is a batter pointing at the stands. If they fail, they will have to admit they failed. Sony's not particularly good at doing that gracefully.
That's not true! Watch me plug my second "true HD" Bravia into the second HDMI port...
Shortly after the interview, Reeves collapsed to his knees in agony as the Sony Overmind punished him for rocking the boat.
But they say "develop on the PS3 first because it's a pain to use". That's not exactly a shining recommendation. I would make me want to develop for 360.
That's a misinformed position. Most games use algorithmic mapping procedures rather than huge textures to achieve realistic graphics. Those algorithms take a minuscule fraction of space the textures take. All that's left is the alleged "uncompressed" audio, and digital audio by its nature can expand to fit any size conceivable... even to make it look like you are using the whole disk. There is no such thing as "uncompressed" when you are talking about digital data on a...
Who cares. I played the demos for both KZ2 and HW and I know which one I will be playing over the next month. I shouldn't stir the fanboy pot by saying which one... but some reviewer's opinion isn't going to change my playing habits, especially one such habit informed by demos.
Can you really imagine a world where we are charged for web browsers?
That's what this line of reasoning aims to accomplish. Screw the open source and free software community. They are just as interested in making money as the next person... except they hide behind rhetoric to pull Microsoft down. And the moment Microsoft fights back, they get slapped with a so called "anti-trust" suit.
It's not fair to the customers who foot the bill in jacked up prices...
"If marketed right, yes."
If taken on its merits as a game, no.
That kind of philosophy is what most people criticize Halo 3 for. It was promoted like crazy. And guess what... it was still a great game for anyone who wasn't dead set against liking it. In my opinion.... that's MY opinion, not yours or anyone else... Killzone 2 doesn't live up to those expectations the way Halo 3 did.
Dude... sarcastic title. Get over it.
The real story here is that Killzone 2's metascore is several points less than Halo 3. Guess what that means...
It means Killzone 2 is STILL a good game, and if you like it, it shouldn't matter what anyone else says.
How is the tech demoy proof any different from Killzone 2 or ayny other PS3 game? I'm not going to be singing it's praises until I see something more concrete, that's for sure, but that ugly Sony-Microsoft double-standard is rearing it's head again.
The more astute of you will notice, this only applies to the EU Home service. US and JPN get screwed again.
But don't let that detract from the fact that this IS a step in the right direction for Home.
