If anyone's interested I've moved on to MS Security Essentials. Less overhead on the system and honestly very good on catching stuff. I always was very disbelieved on MS products but since I want to play games I have to use Windows and after going through Avast, Outpost, Kaspersky, Avira and even Norton (for a few seconds, too heavy like most) I'm pretty much satisfied with MS Security Essentials. I even leave the resident protection on, thing I never done. Oh, and it's free =...
Rockstar DLCs are prime (well, let's forget LA Noire for a minute..) really, RDR was another with superb ones. And better yet, you didn't need any of it to finish their great games, they were really for the people who enjoyed the game and wanted more, nothing more fair than that.
Bethesda too made some good DLCs, like you said, but it never hesitated to put poor DLC on the road either, let's see how it'll go with Skyrim =/ not very optimistic.

Wth is wrong with the guy who wrote this title in first place?! Is he/she implying that not to release DLCs is now crazyness?
Omg, get out of here Activision/EA PR man/woman, whichever you are. Let the real game developers be.
Dragon Age?! Sex? Oh, for virgin game designers, that was.
Hey, thanks for that, I'll see it and see if I give it a chance.
I don't know if it's only about the bugs when they give it low scores. They exaggerate but I sure don't want fixed and predictable spawn points with X identical zombies every Y minutes and much less re-spawning loot or a 90's game shop where you can only sell one item a time.
If these are bugs then their game design ideas need to be fixed. For myself I had too much of this kind of mistake on past games to revisit them again.
The low scores...
I don't know why people are so concerned about bugs, they're fixable and don't ruin a game if the dev knows how to handle them (Bethesda games anyone?).
Bad implemented features aren't fixable, and that what this [negative] review is about.
Advice: turn MUTE ON if you have high sensibility to extremely annoying comments on a disturber language by 3 non-stop people.
I agree with Tigerfist, I didn't see tense and weird Silent Hill in any of these trailers so far.. at least they didn't come up with coop for it, yet.
I'm still hopeful, better a good game when no expectations than a good game expecting too much, which I'm not even close to, unfortunately =/
Can be harsh and maybe tendentious (since it's EDGE) but they put pretty solid points there. I'm not agreeing with the rating (I don't even played it yet) but if those things written on the review are true then only shows what the news about Dead Island were predicting: rushed, pretentious and maybe a bit too much work for the studio.
When that trailer way back gave us hope on a true survival game filled with innovative gameplay which would bring back (or for a ...
Maybe not if the multiplayer keeps it up, but from the 3 reviews I've read so far I'll agree with you, seems a bit like a wasted shot in a great idea.
But since it's getting so much attention, probably will sell enough so they can make the real deal on something like DI 2.
As for myself I'll get it, but only next year when somewhere, sometime, I won't have anything more to play, sounds like a decent game to waste time anyways.
I honestly thought it was the most reasonable comment in this thread.
I'm Brazilian and I must agree. You probably don't have the idea on how some specific/regional/contextual words are translated when these guys bend to game, or even any IT text/app localization.
It's not like a www.engrish.com (if you never saw you must....) translation but it just feels unnatural. I'll always vote for a subtitled version, and even yet - personally - I'll choose English subtitles. But for those here who can't read English subtitles ...
oh well, ethics isn't in their checklist anyways.
I think the only news that should be banned are those which mess with the overall flow of information, like duplicates, obvious advertising, etc. The rest is news, what this site lives for.
Journalism is about providing information, not taking sides. If you want partial news go to official sites which pick stories so their products don't go bad.
The day N4G starts banning news because of general opinions I'll stop taking it as my main game news so...
I bet this will be back in a few days after launch, as a mod for PC gamers.
I'm still *very* in doubt if I'll get it for ps3 or PC, mostly because of modding and dubious moves from Bethesda on the gameplay. Fallout, Oblivion and Morrowind were perfected by mods, I really don't know how is to play a vanilla Bethesda game besides a half-hour of unmodded Morrowind back on those times.
Should I risk this time? =|
Yep.. if at least this time they aren't like made of stone I'll be ok with it. Or at least let us make some damage with it =D
I agree about SH's there. Silent Hill 2 was by far the best 'Horror(moreof Psychological?) Survival' I've ever played mainly because of the characters and the history... if you read the plot analysis you get more perplex yet with, just masterpiece to me.
But SH3 was way scarier, really.. I don't even liked so much playing it because of so much tension. '-_-
I don't want Origin to succeed because I don't trust EA actual beliefs. It seems to just want money, not to please gamers.
I understand when you speak about new tools and platforms for gamers but EA just want to profit. If you open a gate like this maybe you're dooming game industry to 'I want money' companies, unfortunately.
Yep, I know it's a company and it runs for money - but right now it looks like it runs ONLY for the money. That's not how you run a game dev/publisher.
In this perspective.. a 'Since you didn't die enough DLC' would be nice enough x)
