I don't know if I can believe any kind of "Konami rumors" after what they did with all the Silent Hills story. One thing is to let news spread little lies here and there, another is:
- Start an audacious project at 2012 with two big names: Silent Hill and Kojima.
- Add another to it: Guillermo del Toro
- Announce all of this in a way to hype even the slightest fan of SH, or Kojima, or Guillermo or (I think there are fans of him?) Norman Reedus at...
Right, and do what with it? A milked western "horror" Alan-Wake-like trying to be psychological?
If you're speculating that wishing a good thing I'd think twice.
I agree with most concerns here, about what ME3 was and what it will be but we can't ignore Dragon Age: Inquisition, when Bioware took a ***** *** ***** that was Dragon Age 2 (I actually liked it) and revamped the franchise quite superbly.
My body is still ready.
If it's a Steam key then it's a great price indeed. If it's GOG's then it's an "ok" price.
Hum, Capcom engine/game modded? As much as I want that to be true as well I find it hard to happen =\
I honestly hope they will.
I would never buy one at the moment, but I wish they "keep it going", monopolies will be always the worst deal for us customers.
I'm currently unemployed, $2k debt and just bought a GTX 970 only to play FO4. Time isn't exactly my problem here, no.
I'll not lie, the main character looks like a bunny to me. /Kappa
(That said, I'm really into that game. Black Flag had a very good gameplay but I miss the historic appeal the other ACs had.)
The map isn't as big as I expected either.
Together with The Witcher 3 and Civilization: Beyond Earth, this is one of few games that would make me believe that the games industry isn't doomed with the ever growing release and dominance of crap and shallow titles.
+1 Muzikguy
It is, indeed, very sad - not the platform per se, but how it was "exploited". As a developer myself (not games, but software in general can be like that) I can say I know a good bit about making a project to work until its conclusion, it's complex and requires so much discipline and professional project management.. which most - as already said by Jdoki and the article - doesn't know or have.
Just to mention another pretty popul...
Right. Lots of game development geniuses giving opinions about the creation of a new Engine for new platforms. Really useful discussion here.
Disagree is the second one \/
*yawn*
I trust on the dev team competence, really do, loved L4D 1 and 2, played a lot. Wasn't only because of the theme or graphics, gameplay was very balanced and coherent - a milestone in coop games IMHO.
But really, that monster as a cover/main story so far is really tiresome. The problem for me is that people stopped creating (read demanding) new themes, stories, worlds.. 1 monster and X hunters? Really? Does the talent was so much invested on the gam...
Nonetheless, I still have this image as one of my favorites during this year's E3..

They surely didn't play any of Quantic Dream's games for starters, then.
I, for sure, remember way more of my Adventure games characters than my 2-hour most beloved films ones.
lol, indeed.
I'm agreeing with Peter Holy-Moly and I'm concerned about my sanity.
Thanks for explaining that, I knew about the existence of the Studio/Publishing houses but not about which was for responsible for which game.
Makes sense now.
Great but where and at which conditions it'll look like that? If that's only for when you're at menus and etc so it's BS (surprise EA telling us BS).
If looks like that ingame with all around at same quality than yet, it's only OK (for a face). Things can look realistic at static images but I would want to see better physics and animation.
For a fight game I would go even further: better muscles contraction, realistic hair and cloth simula...
I really hope they give us an upgrade option, after almost one year wanting to play DA:I and not having a decent PC to do it I finally bought a GTX 970 (for Fallout 4, I confess), but first game I bought was DA:I and I'm loving every hour in it.
But if they don't give us an upgrade option.. welp, Vanilla + Fallout 4 is good enough for me for this year.
