Agreed. The rap we can mute but WTF that FOV, if that's a demonstration of how aware the dev team is or how technically-able they are this will be a mess.

Alan Wake underrated? 80+ at metacritic (here: http://www.metacritic.com/g... ) is overrated if you ask me.
I don't have (although I did have one sometime ago, not at Alan Wake's time) a X360 then I was glad when they released it for PC, since I'm firstly an Adventure(/story-driven/tellin g) gamer. It lasted the 1-2 hours I played the game.
Guess this story must have achieved some *Most 'like I said' responses*-like award.
Anyone who watched 30 minutes of this year's Google I/O ( here, extremely recommended: https://developers.google.c... ) will get why the company is where it stands: developers. Android? Developers. IOS? Much (a lot) because of apps (developers).

Since I hate:
- TV,
- most sports (even more when they're on TV),
- having to communicate when I don't need/want to,
- being a weirdo communicating to a device when it's a device, not a human, so it's even more unnecessary,
- Call of Duty,
- being interrupted by Skype when playing,
- being interrupted by Skype when I watch anything,
- being interrupted in anyway.

Keep away if you want to keep your adrenaline going for it - nothing much new apart the same old "I know more than you" kind of video these sites like to make nowadays.
If you are still in doubt of getting it maybe it's worth to watch, else just pump your joyful wait for less than a month more, sometimes the best of a party is to wait for it.
EA games are, nowadays, like 'mid-season' to keep people interested. Even they know that (well they knew that before hand anyways). They launch annual ctrl+v games and that works because you'll always have casual gamers or those that never had any game and will buy their first(s) - or maybe just because you are a hardcore gamer with nothing else better to play? First off I'm even more excited now that I decided to pre-order this (as everything I'm hearing seems to suggest:) masterpiece.
Second, @DatNJDom81 and some.. sometimes I wonder if you guys are experts on typing at phones or even at the ps3 or if you actually have a PC and live in gaming denial.
Some ps3 games have great MP but no way my top 5 great MP of all time would *only* have PS3 games (even though I love it, my only console atm).

I agree with ElementX. Bethesda games had (and I think still have) history of high prices even when the game has 2-3 years - I'm not judging here, just what I experienced on Fallout, Oblivion, etc.
I myself don't have the huge amount of time to play every single bit TES5 (and its expansions) require as I did with Morrowind (which I played almost everything of it plus expansions).
So to me it's a great deal to get vanilla and fill it with mods - wh...

I accept your arguments (most of them, since others - like #5 - are just ridiculous when you first are trying to defend the publisher's point), but don't ignore that this is setting a dangerous precedent.
You really want that, in the near future, games have their retail price (let's say $39) plus 5 difficult-like-modes, $5 each? Sounds a bit absurd? Well then just look at DLC and microtransactions market right now. Those were "absurd" 3 years ago. And ye...

Bethesda must be the best game dev team to work on in the planet. You must accomplish 70% of the game by the deadlines, the rest is up to the community modders.
