Yes, now that you mentioned it.. it really looks like those bait sites with hundreads of randomly scattered articles, when you click > 3 new tabs open.

I'm a web developer myself and they're really going to the *most* directions more modern sites are today - but TBH I love the unique N4G feel, the new one looks very bland with no personality.

More functional, but that's it.

This is mostly for casuals or clueless people. Sure, things may change in the future but right now seems so.

And when you have millions and millions, even 2% of that amount is something. As parasite subscription services have shown you usually only need them to get 1 month and probably they'll forget or keep subscribed.

Ofc, if that really changes free YT as we know it then it's another story but probably will be a shot on Google's own foot IMO.

I agree but I wouldn't be too optimistic about day 1 mods changing game mechanics. If there are expect some bugs because they wouldn't have been tested properly yet. Not to mention that we won't know yet how deep each mod will make game saves front/backwards compatibles so..

I'd suggest that if you want to avoid highly potential frustrations try to play the game vanilla once - maybe some graphical mods here and there - but mechanics-changing ones can ruin your...

True, that's the positive side of it and I agree.

Unfortunately this is Activision and I *personally* don't trust them on anything on the business aspect of things to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Because they have a huge piece of the market they can push new practices without much damage to their image. My complain is about that - creating precedents. That's how DLCs, Season Passes and the sort began and never left.

·the developer itself - which of course want to promote the game - but also passed 2+ years (in avg.) creating it?

Again, what I said was ->compression of screenshots DOESN'T change the game's quality<-, that's like saying a movie was bad or well *produced* if you watch it at 420p or 1080.

You missed my point, I'm not against or in favor anything - I said that compressed screenshots don't change those aspects. Please read again.

From what I've seen is not as - let's say - "well put" like Lucius 1 but very fun. Expect it to be rated M/18, though.
