I can't say I'll buy it blindly like that but, right now, if you ask me: "you have to decide now and now-only: choose 1 next-gen console you want.." of course it would be..

- great subscription plan with lots of free games and discounts
- main focus is GAMES
- avant-Gard game development, always trying new concepts in 1st party games
- good effort on exclusives

ZombieU.. I guess ppl didn't see the gamepad AND hands both made in 3D. Nintendo was so lame I had to turn it off and keep with the good memories.
Considering Ubisoft games never had severe lags, leaks and slowdowns (I mean it in here, and I don't have a lot of money spent on hardware) like some (Bethesda, Volition, Rockstar..) I like the news.
Beauty is great but performance and bugless gameplay is way ahead for me.
If they do that to GTA franchise they will just bring down a whole brand that is mostly above almost every game around.
When any GTA game is released everything in gaming world seems to hang a little bit, until its hype slowdowns. Rockstar/T2 don't need any other hype or rumors or speculation to make it the top sold game for months, and until now they seem to understand that.
IMO if they put LA Noire DLC strategy into GTA untouchable success they'...

I agree but do you think there is, now, a capable developer to do it without spoiling it with massification and what most people want (I mean, FPS crazy shooting all the way)? I don't, not even a more independent dev who laid down ALL the terrain to do it (yep, Dead Island) could afford[/want] to make it when the best time was there.
Maybe a mix between Silent Hill mojo and Bethesda 'FPSism'(?) could come close but I guess Silent Hills are no more either, unfort...
I too think they unfortunately spoiled the zombie genre by now but if it is something like 28 Days Later and NOT a FPS I will be very excited for it.

You forgot to whine about the Real-Time and Turn-Based Strategy, oh and Simulations.
These ones which are, sometimes, state of the art in gaming and turn out to be the most disgraceful pieces of software when greedy publishers and devs try to port them to consoles. (C&C's, Warcrafts, Civ's, etc).
If pc gaming to you means 'shooters or mmorpgs' you really should keep with consoles, no offense.
