Does anybody know if the game will be a direct sequence to the past games (and thus making lots of references and such in story, etc) or more like a "spiritual" one - like press likes to call it?

Seems that we got to a point where everything popular about games is banalized. I just ignore mainstream reviews (IGN, GS, etc) since they just help this unfortunate marketing machine.

Nonetheless, I ended reading so much about it and Metro 2033 that I just bought a 2033 Steam Key for ~$5 and I'm finishing downloading it right now. Nice nerdy saturday night for me :)
