... I shall say but one more thing. Just because it CAN be hacked doesn't mean that it should be, or that people should accept it.
You know that there used to be a time when hackers were looked fondly upon? They were simply bright people who exposed computer and digital security flaws so that they could be tightened - not exploited.
No, it is not your "right" to perform those tasks you mentioned. It's really quite simple - someone makes something, therefore, they own it, which, quid pro quo, means that THEY set the rules for it, within the law of the land. See how that works? You are but a consumer, and if you think that piracy is somehow justifiable, you are also a stain on humanity. I agree far more with Killer Cop down below than your neurotic diatribe.
With a wonderful vocabulary like that, I'm surprised you're not down to a single bubble yet. Here, let me help you. *reports*
Yep, that's really something to write home to the parents about.
But I guess some people care more about money than their pride.
You certainly don't have to answer my question, but I must know - how old are you?
And this is beneficial to consumers and gamers how, precisely? Just what we need, more asshat pirates.
While I don't own a PS3, I think Motorstorm is going to be a fantastic game. It looks great, plays great, and has some nifty options for gameplay.
I tend to look at it as a prettier Excite Truck, though. If I had a PS3, I'd definately be picking up this game, if only because I would need something to stop the drought.
"Where are those female gamers?"
At least one of them is sleeping in our bed right now.
I don't think you can get better than what specialguest said.
While I'm certainly interested to see what these guys can do with PS3's hardware, I believe that their efforts have helped to prove that you don't need a PS3 or X-Box 360 for beautiful graphics and gameplay, and that Nintendo is fairly spot on when they describe the Wii's graphics and power capabilities as "good enough".
I hope the PS3 will have a large enough base of players for a new Team ICO game to be fully appreciated, but I'm doubting it. C'est la vie.
You just enjoy loosing bubbles, don't you?
These results seriously shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. I'm willing to best that the vast majority of the public is surprised to see that there's more to video game consoles now than just putting a cartridge or disk into a bay and then hitting the Power button. These people are not dumb, stupid, or anything else derogatory - they are simply ignorant to the evolution of console gaming.
If Ken or Phil left, then it'd be some pretty great news for SONY. This right here is just bad news.
Are the rats finally beginning to jump the sinking Sony gaming ship?
Praise the gods!
"You can't take Rayman away from me, or Red Steel, Assassin's away from us. And we think that's what it's going to take to continue to succeed..."
Ubisoft deserves their own theme song. It would probably sound something like...
Take my game, take my brand
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, 'cause it's IP
You can't take Rayman from me...
And I think I should stop right there. ^_^
"Citing the recent sales numbers, Sony exec David Bishop is claiming that the next gen console war can officially be declared over. Looks like the Wii and 360 are the winners."
Hehe! How apropos.
I don't know how Sony can even consider making such an announcement - it boggles the mind. Didn't it take like... 10 years or more for VHS tapes to dominate Betamax, even when at first it looked like Betamax was going to reign supreme?
This just ...
While the guy titled the game DOOM, it looked a hell of a lot more like Wolfenstein 3D, what with the gun holding and the potted trees and the death animations and whatnot.
That being said... I'm impressed. That's some hardcore nerdage right there.
Seeing as how Motorstorm is being pretty well praised and accepted by the gaming community, I hardly see where there is a "need" for rumble. Your logic fails.
