Well it will certainly take some work, and Nintendo is going to really need to work hard to keep up the pace already... but if they can, more power to them!

The constant stream of idiots chatting away is one of the reasons why I have yet to really enjoy multiplayer experiences like this. Hopefully this will change that!

What kind of a terrible news story is this? No details, no hints, no substance and it is simply a perpetuation of a rumor. It mentions nothing about getting to play "Kingdom Hearts 3" by the end of the year, which is what the title alludes to, and instead just says we "hope" that we'll get some information by the end of the year.

Why this was even submitted is beyond me.

The more games the better!

I really didn't like FPS games until I played them on the Wii. I loved Red Steel's focus system, and Call of Duty 3's intensity. Definitely a better gaming experience with FPSes than I've ever had before.

But then again, I also realize that I'm in the minority in that method of thinking. :)

Reported for offensive and totally pointless commenting. And seeing as how you've only two bubbles, you should've been expecting this.

I have no clue just who MART is or why he'd grab your ire, but childish crap like this can stay between you two.

I find it hard to believe that reading through all of my reply was a difficult task.

As I said in that reply, "Bethesda is releasing a completely different kind of game with 'The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion'..."

Notice the "completely different kind of game" phrase that I used, and then notice how it contradicts your assumption that I know nothing about the game.

This really is disapointing to me. Not only was the title of the article moronic, since "last gen graphics" makes no sense when you're talking about a graphically more powerful current gen system, but as PS3alltheway oddly put it, Bethesda is releasing a completely different kind of game with "The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion" exclusively for the PSP.

While naturally no one would have attempted to think that Oblivion could have been ported to Wii in its c...

While I'm in doubt of the sincerity of your remark, you were right in that I'm not going to be accused of being in MENSA any time soon.

But in the future, if you're going to jokingly call someone's intelligence into play, make sure you either do it with someone whom you know, and/or express some sort of friendliness about what you're going to say.

While I'm certainly not going to validate my intelligence to someone on the Internet, I'd like to point out that when I made the statement, "One would naturally expect a sequel console to sell better than your previous consoles", I was referring to the fact that in this interview Phil said that the PS3 launch is doing better than the launches of the PS2 or the PS1. Now, if you had taken the time to put that quote of mine in context with what I had said just before it, "...you a...

I'm not saying that Sony is doing horrible, I simply stated that their launch was horrible.

I could care less about Sony's other endeavors - what I care about are games and gaming systems.

I don't think that one extra generation of a console constitutes a remark that Sony has been in the console game a lot longer than Microsoft.

Phil said that the PS3 launch was "phenomenal by any measure", and that is obviously false when measured agai...

"Harrison also talked about how onlookers have been critical of the PS3’s launch, calling the PS3’s release 'a phenomenal launch by any measure.'

'We have supplied the market with more products in Japan, Asia and the US than we did the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2, and more software than PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2,' Harrison said. Sizing up the high volume of product shipped to criticisms of the PS3’s launch, he asked, 'So, what’s wrong with this picture?'" ...

I'll sit and watch the wife play Zelda, or my roommate play Grand Theft Auto III, or either of them play Oblivion, but I can't imagine watching them play some FPS for a lengthy period of time. I certainly wouldn't pay to watch someone else play a video game. It just seems counter-intuitive to what a video game really is.

I think the most logical control scheme for this would be to put the Wii Remote into the neck of a guitar shell, probably at the very top, connected to the internal controls of the shell guitar via the same connector used for the nunchuck. I think the coolest possibility for this setup would be to see your character on screen holding the guitar and manipulating it the same way you are manipulating the guitar controller.

That all being said, I'm hoping for two things: that the W...

And that would be why I missed it. It's always the simple things. >.<

Though to be honest, I only breezed through the text of the article.

I didn't notice anything about a release date in that article... Can anyone else help me out here?

Regardless, it looks like I'll have to be missing out on Final Fantasy 13. At least I've got Revenant Wings and Crystal Bearers to look forward to. :p

No offence, mate, but there's really not that many people who fit what you described. Might as well give the bigger audience the best bang for their buck.

Please don't feel sorry for me standing up for my values. I don't think you're really grasping the complete concept here, as evidenced by your $100 question. Finding $100 on the street with no obvious owner in the vicinity and keeping it is not akin to the vNES website or downloading and playing ROMs.

I want to make sure that I'm clear on what you said, though. You stated that the only people who would pay for intangible entertainment (games, movies, music) that is currently no...

Now you bring up a good point - just who is being stolen from when people make use of ROMs and websites like this? Is it Nintendo? Obviously not, because as you stated they no longer make money off of these games. Is it the people trying to sell the physical cartridges of these games? Not at all, seeing as how stealing remains the process of taking posession of something from someone else through wrongful or unjust practices. (Thus purchasing an NES game from a store and not the Virtual Conso...

"Illegal? Yes
Stealing? No
Wrong? No"

How did you come up with that? If it's not stealing, then how is it illegal?

I think the other commenter was right in that this particular instance is a rather gray area. The website is obviously not selling the games nor giving the games to other people. It's akin to going over to a rich friend's house to play his exhaustive supply of games. So YOU are doing nothing illegal. This person, however, I hi...
