These aren't new. They're screen caps and GIF's from the trailer that just surfaced.
Anyone else notice a lot of garbage journalism coming from VGHQ?
@ Kyl
I agree and disagree with what you're saying. The only people I see relating American hardware sales to the rest of the world are PS3 fanboys, and that's only because that's really their only comeback every time NPD comes around (which is about to stop, thank god).
While I agree that you should always be mindful of how your console of choice is doing around the globe, the market you should be the most interested in is the one you live in. B...
If you even have to ask the 'will this get me banned?' question, then it's best to play it safe. $55 is a good price for this hard drive. Cheapest I've ever seen for an official MS hard drive.
Yeah it doesn't look too bad. I prefer the black one over the red, though. I really like the controller hook.
Not sure if a new case is worth $60, though.
Or to the Red Cross, or any other organization that is helping Japan right now.
"i dont care what any of you have to say bout that."
Which means you DO care, otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time to say it.
Did this even receive any reports?
It would be interesting to see how well a Killzone 3 hate article of a similar nature would fair.
The word 'failure' is subjective in this case. If you like the game, play it. If not, then don't.
But one million sold and over 2 million shipped does say something. I personally believe the reviewers were a little too hard on this game.
So many of them wrote the game off because of 'bugs' and it is admittedly buggy, but it just shows the industries occasional bias. Fallout: New Vegas (one of the glitchiest games I've ever played) won ...
Yes, I tried OnLive on my PC a few weeks ago and it was a bad experience. My internet connection is very stable and runs at over twice the speed the reviewer claims to have.
"Mostly all of the games look to be maxed out on the PC’s this service is running."
This guy needs to play more games because when I played Borderlands, AC2 and Kane and Lynch 2, the OnLive version was TERRIBLE compared to even their console counterparts, much less the PC versio...
@retrongames79
You're wrong on a couple of accounts. First, GT5 did not run at a constant 60fps, and GT's creator even came out and apologized for not being able to deliver that, before the game came out. (Source: http://tinyurl.com/4zw2z6c)
Second, while GT5 did have 1,000 cars, I would've gladly traded off the 800+ of them that were GT4 holdovers for 500 premium models.
Good to hear but it's a silly question. It's still popular and the original Gears is a P2P game, which means they only have to keep matchmaking servers online. Matchmaking servers are extremely low maintenance and it likely takes very few of them to handle the load the original Gears still has.
The games that people will have to worry about are games like MAG, Frontlines and Shadowrun. Those games require full dedicated servers and will be taken down a lot quicker. Sa...
"there are a few PS3 exclusives that are way overrated..."
Oh man, I can already feel the animosity starting to build just based on this comment.
A PS3 game that's overrated? Preposterous!
EDIT @evrfighter
I'll agree that if you read nothing but N4G comments, Killzone 3 and GT5 are 'mildly' overrated. But that's only because the SDF boys here counter every piece of non-PS3 news with a PS3 game so...
They did brag about John Milius but I wouldn't say that means they 'mostly marketed the game' that way. Again, go find the trailers and developer diaries. There's more MP then SP, and when Homefront was featured on big sites like GameTrailers, it was the MP they were featuring.
And the inclusion of John Milius turned out to be nothing special because as the review states, the dialogue was pretty 'meh'.
I can understand it if it's an average, but unless I missed something, the 5.8 doesn't come from an average. The overall score was all I saw.
"They mostly marketed the game as a single player experience..."
Umm, no they didn't.
It was marketed just as heavily for multiplayer, if not more-so. I saw way more trailers and developer diaries for the multiplayer than the single player. Even here on N4G, people that were talking about Homefront were talking about multiplayer.
Reagrdless, I think your score is a bit low. Story was mediocre and there were some bugs, but it was...
Article says there's no way they would release it for only $29.99 but I can totally see it. The game isn't over the top amazing and it didn't sell extremely well so I could definitely see them releasing it for a bit of a discount. $29.99 is a good price.
He is working. His job now is just as much to get his name and his products out there. And like him or not, he's good at it.
Random Observation:
There's a lot of talk on this site about how PS3 fans dominate N4G, but articles like this make me think that there are just as many 360 fans here, they just don't comment. This article is at 130 degrees and has only one comment. Which means there are a lot people clicking the link to check out where to buy without commenting. Not that I blame them for not commenting. Anything even remotely pro-360 is immediately eaten alive by the SDF boys. Makes ...
You can't get Astro's from anywhere but Astrogaming.com. Unless someone is selling them used (and buying used headphones you can't try first is a bad idea).
I had the AXPro's before I bought my Astro's and the sound was far from 'poopi'. It was actually quite good. I just hated the mic (sensitivity was set way too low) and the fact that you need so many cords.
I loved the A40's I got and they're well worth the money. Better...
Stepto has already recovered and restored his profile. I wonder how many countless hours the hacker spent trying to hack it, only for the owner to have it back in a matter of minutes.
Such a waste.
This guy (the hacker) obviously has talent, so why not put it towards something that will help the world, rather than hacking the security director's profile on a video game platform, just to prove a point?
