@Elyxir
But did Xbox really hold FF back? Didn't it look and run better on PS3? The only people that should have been playing a 'held back' version of the game were Xbox owners.
And even then, at least they still got to experience the game, which is the most important part, IMO.
@DatNJ
Why? Metal Gear is an amazing series. As a gamer, I want as many other gamers as possible to experience this great franchise.
You're a jerk.
Interesting that we've already seen a MW3 patch for issues me and my buddies haven't even experienced, yet Battlefield 3 *still* hasn't got a proper patch and it has loads of glitches and problems.
Not saying MW3 is perfect, and to be honest, I still love BF3, but I'm curious what's taking DICE so long when the developers themselves have admitted many things that need to be fixed.
The debate isn't which series is better, douchebag.
We're talking about Battelog vs Elite here. Although, the one advantage to Battlelog is that it currently works. Elite still hasn't come up for me.
Yes, they roll over after you hit your top streak. You don't even have to die. :-)
That's a moot point because they don't have those features. Believe me, as a big BF3 fan, I'd love to see them add some more stuff to Battlelog, but seeing as how the game has been out for almost two weeks and they're still having server issues on my platform, I doubt they have time to think about Battlelog right now.
There are so many misinformed people on the internet that it makes me sick. Actually, what really makes me sick is that they're willing to be outspoken about things they know nothing about.
For the 1,000th time, about 99% of the features in CoD Elite are free. The free features vastly outweigh that of Battlelog. I've been using Battlelog for the past week with BF3 (great game), and while it's perfectly functional, the amount of stats that were available in the CoD...
The person who submitted it just used the wrong link. The site really does have their MW3 review up, though it's a day early and will likely be taken down shortly.
Well written review, though. Love this line: "And for those that continue to dismiss to the series as soul-less and immature, in an industy where we celebrate games like Bulletstorm for using the term 'dick tits' or Saints Row 3 where you can bludgeon people to death with a giant dildo, perhaps som...
@Apoc
Unfortunately so do I. And it pisses me off because I don't have it :-)
You mean the game you haven't played?
But doesn't the web owner choose where those ads are placed? That site is absolutely overrun with annoying ads. If it's really someone else doing all the placement for them, I think I'd be finding another way.
Yeah, I'm glad they brought back the "There's a soldier in all of us" campaign. Last year's advert was really good.
To clarify, you didn't have to preorder the game to get the Back to Karkand expansion. You just had to buy it at launch and get one of the 'Limited Edition' copies that were selling at the same price.
I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time taking all your MW3 hate seriously when there's a giant "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" advert crammed right in to the middle of the article.
Yeah but look at it this way: with the support package, you can only have 3 killstreaks per game since they never reset. Regardless of how big they are, there's only 3 of them that are obtainable. So the higher skill players won't be able to rack up 15 kills, use their streaks, intentionally die and then do it again.
Support class makes a few big streaks available to just about anyone, but it sounds like they can only use the 3 they designate once a game, assuming the...
@Laxman
Haha, fair enough.
Funny stuff but it's unfair to lump all CoD players together (like the BF die hards seem to love to do). My crew played a ton of BLOPS when it came out, now we're playing BF3. We talk simple strategy, band together in vehicles when it seems appropriate, and always play objectively.
That said, I've spent way more time playing CoD than the BF games. A CoD gamer doesn't always equal a dumb gamer.
Funny article, though.
Oops! Bonehead move on my part. Hate to pass the buck but I got this from another Battlefield article that was using the same image. Also, for whatever reason, when you Google Battlefield, this is one of the first few images that pops up.
I don't get killed by those very often. I've noticed that most players use assault rifles rather than LMG's or SMG's but outside of that, there's really no one weapon or perk that consistently dominate the games I play. It's pretty well balanced, IMO.
