I don't remember spec-ops having killstreaks in MW2. Then again, it has been awhile so maybe I just don't remember.
Either way, video looked great.
@Tre
I'd love to, only Black Ops is one of the only games you can compare in 3D. Xbox's hardware limitations (old HDMI version) and Microsoft's disinterest in 3D has kind of limited the number of 3D games that have launched for the platform.
I haven't seen a Crysis 2 comparison in 3D, but since the normal graphical output of that game was better on the Xbox (as most multiplats are), I have to assume the 3D was as well.

Read this: http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
A very in depth examination of the 3D utilization in Black Ops for both the PS3 and 360. **spoiler alert** The 360's version of 3D won, hands down.
It's cool, though... I'm sure Microsoft paid them off to make it intentionally worse on PS3. That's still the exc...
"Aside from the fanboyish, poorly-worded, hair-pulling, girly slap-fight of some of the individuals above, there was one valid point."
I was wondering when this thread's first major dillhole was going to show up. A bit late, aren't you?

"he probably is referring to things like MS didnt give bungie the freedom to develope games the way bungie wants to."
Proof of this? Bungie leaving to go multiplat doesn't mean they didn't get to make what they wanted. They just wanted to reach a larger audience. MS didn't own Bungie, only the Halo name. If Bungie truly felt they were being mistreated, I doubt they would've stuck around for 5 games.

@Darth
Yeah, I know about Qriocity, he mentioned XBL's service.
I don't think buying Blockbuster would work for Sony. I mean, sure they could do it but it wouldn't be any cheaper than buying Netflix in the long run. Streaming requires constant renewal of media licenses from the companies that own the movie/tv show. I would imagine the price for each license is probably the same, regardless of the of the service.

You mean Zune? That's already out and it actually works pretty well.
I'd like to see Sony create something similar. Instant streaming of SD/HD videos with no download required. And a library of anything I've purchased that stays up to date, even if the things I've purchased aren't on my hard drive. Allow me to select and stream anything from my library without downloading.
Holy crap, were they trying to get the Kinect to screw up the tracking of their arms? They were all over the place.
I can sit for long periods of time but I'm constantly changing positions. Sitting on one leg or the other, leaning back, sitting forward, etc.
The title is complete gibberish but this is a bit of wake up call. I sometimes sit on my couch and play for 8-12 hours at a time. Probably a good idea to get up and least walk a small bit or stretch for a couple of seconds, every hour or two.
A little bit surprising it's getting such high scores. A lot of people came away from E3 saying it was pretty rough.
Glad to see they shaped it up.
Bit of a flawed argument, IMO. The article basically reads like "I'm glad it didn't sell because I didn't like it."
Regardless of whether I like something or not, if a lot of other gamers like it and it achieves critical success, I've got no interest in seeing it fail. People enjoyed it, who would I be to say I'm glad it failed just because of my own personal taste?

Looks kind of cheap...
And also, it shows in their video that two people can utilize surround sound thanks to the extra 3.5mm stereo jack on the decoder box. This is false; a 3.5mm jack will only push stereo sound, not surround.
Regardless of whether it's an oversight on their part or just a bold-face lie, I'm less likely to buy any of their products because of it.
In my experiences, these high-profile games usually have code names for their early/closed betas.
@Knowledge(or lack thereof)
He was just saying that all of PSN had the chance to play. Of course not every single person did. Gears was not open to everyone on XBL so people had to go out of their way to get in.
You should really learn to put 2 + 2 together before going in to nerd rage on the net.
@MOTY
I'm glad someone pointed that out. Gears was not open for everyone - Uncharted was. This should have been a LAND SLIDE victory for Uncharted. But then, Uncharted is known more for its single player than multiplayer, which is a shame because it was quite good.
But yeah, if the article is trying to insinuate that Uncharted is more popular than Gears, let's compare sales when the two launch :-D
Despite your best judgement, I can assure you that posts like that don't help control the troll population ;-) If anything, it just incites them.
Never understood all that hate towards CoD. Nor do I understand why people are so vocal about it. I simply don't play the games/franchises I don't like and move on. Simple.
Huh? What do maps have to do with story-telling?
Oh wait, you're a big fat obvious troll... I get it. You know there are like a thousand other articles posted on N4G every day. You should go comment on something you actually care about instead of proving how much of a douchebag you are here.
On topic - I sincerely hope the story is better than in MW2. As exciting as the game itself was, the story was a disaster.
I'm sure there will be a playlist that supports this, just like in previous games.
