PSN does not have cross-game chat(which is what party chat is used for). Whether or not you think it's worth it is completely subjective but please stop flaming lies around the net, especially since you can barely construct a complete sentence.
Also, PSM3 gave it '83%'.
That's what I thought. It looked sharp and with this much development time ahead, they have plenty of time to fix whatever is broken.
Hmm... wonder why he left/was asked to leave?
Right, that's why it came out on both consoles? Because they wanted to give 'Microsoft' something to compete with Killzone 3?
And by the way, the game has co-op. Do some research before bashing a game that you clearly haven't played.
8 hours but it does have 4 player co-op and a ton of replay value because of the skillshots and echo system. Heavy rain only had about an 8 hour story and no one is calling that one a bargain bin title.
Length of the game is not the proper scale to measure value on... at least not for me.
I don't know, with Kinect there's a new crowd that are likely interested. Plus, price drops always seem to drive up sales, no matter the position of the console.
The real question is, will Sony be able to counter with one of their own without going back in to the red and taking a loss on their console again?
That number seem low to anyone else? Leaderboards say over 500K have played online. Doesn't seem like it should've taken 2 weeks to achieve this...
@ravinash
Yeah, I'm just thinking with over 500k that have played at least one match, it should've hit a million games played a long time ago. Within a few days of launch, at least.
Did you notice how I ended that with a question mark and not a period?
I don't have a source but I remember seeing it on N4G. It was for the UK I believe. Based on the number agrees I've gotten, I'm guessing I'm not the only one that caught it.
EDIT - Source: http://www.thesixthaxis.com...
I believe it surpassed Killzone 3 in sales last week in EU, right?
Not really all the surprising since it's a multiplat game.
Very misleading headline. There will still be packs, they just won't be made by Bungie.
You're right, it was 8 maps, not 6.
Even still, the fact that some are only playable on a single game-type hurts.
I wish there was a version of each map that could be played via every mode.
The game needs DLC. It only launched with 6 maps. That's pretty bad.
Luckily, I got the two throwback maps and there's another pack of two new maps on the way, so that should help.
But regardless of how big the maps are, 6 is just not enough.
This is the same company that said that Medal of Honor was 'very close' to being as good as Call of Duty.
Don't get me wrong, MoH wasn't nearly as bad as some would have you believe, but it was nowhere near CoD's level.
Most reviewers these days only use a 4 point scale anyway (6-10), 6 being terrible - 10 being great.
@rdg
Easily get 500 kills in?
That's why the game has been out for 4 months, millions of people have played, thousands and thousands have already hit top prestige and this is the first time we've seen it?
In order to accomplish this, you would have to know exactly where the choke points are and have multiple people lock them down in unison so the spawns are always the same. Even then, you need to have friendlies on the other team to p...
Heh, this video shows why I stopped playing Halo. I can't compete with the people that can pull off these kills :-P
OMG, I can't believe how sad and pathetic you are. Spamming the same BS hate and fake story about Bulletstorm in multiple articles when it hasn't even launched in your region.
Unbelievable.
"Played it at mates house"
I'm going to assume your wording means you're either in EU or AU. Which is funny because you said you went with your friend to return it... and the game doesn't launch in either of those regions until later this week.
Edit @ Kon: I know. Checked his comment history and he's a raging PS3/Killzone fanboy so of course every other game is the enemy.
Yeah, besides, optical is powered by light. You don't need thick insulated cables for that. As long as it's covered, it's fine.
