2022: FF16
2023: Forspoken
2024: FF7R2.

My safe bet.

Bobby Kotick is practically looting the company now.

Some of the late game bosses just require an insane level of precision. So I suppose it depends on how easily people can improve their hand-eye coordination and reaction speed. Learning patterns is standard Dark Souls and Bloodborne, but timing is everything about Sekiro. If you're naturally gifted at that, then I can see how people might have found Sekiro the easiest FromSoft game. But from polls I've seen online, Sekiro is almost always considered #1.

Often in their games, the beginning of the game is harder than the late-game. I feel this is the magic of their games. Bloodborne probably had the hardest opening hours of all their games and yes it can really make you want to give up and move on. But honestly, that is FromSoft's vision. That's how they want to design the game. Dark Souls and Bloodborne are both set in this bleak end-of-civilization moment where there is no hope and everything is lost. The brutal difficulty at the beg...

Elden Ring is confirmed to come to PC.

I don't think this debate should be such a big deal. It's up to From Software if they want to do an easy mode or not. A lot of developers create difficulty modes primarily for business reasons. Nintendo included easy modes in Mario games because they know that children (or rather parents-of-children) are an important part of their target customer base. From Software could probably it more accessible but their game design philos...

"Most importantly, assist mode opens the game up to people with physical or mental disabilities, allowing them to modify the game in a way which makes it playable to suit their specific needs."

The author is assuming that people with disabilities cannot play dark souls? Show me some evidence because unless a player is blind or can't use their hands, I fail to think of how any disability can prevent you from trying to "git gud."

Lol...

Ironically, it was perhaps the best of the original trilogy.

Story: The lore is what got me very invested but I was let down by the plot overall and particularly its ending. In summary, the plot is just MC looking for her brother locked away in a Gov. building with a lot of padding (go to section X to unlock section Y in order to get something for section Z) in between. The lore in the countless documents scattered across the building were the only interesting parts. I did enjoy the classic Remedy trippy moments such as that motel and other weird oddit...

True, but many sword fighters do feel very similar. I don't think Pyra is as similar but the criticism is more that fans want more iconic characters to appear like Crash Bandicoot. Banjo & Kazooie was a #1 fan request to be included in Smash for generations. It finally happened but with Smash ultimate's DLC.

It boils down to Nintendo's business interests. The selected games were mostly about promoting games on the Switch platform. Persona, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, ARMS.

The rest like Piranha Plant and Sephiroth may have been ones personally requested by Sakurai himself and got Nintendo's approval. We can tell Sakurai really wanted Sephiroth by giving him special victory screens and even a limited time game mode. From Sakurai's videos, I could tell MC Steve and Byl...

Control was a pretty easy game lol what do you mean?

Remedy had been stumbling for many years until Control. While a great game, it had a few flaws.

- Fascinating lore but average story overall.
- Amazing combat mechanics but repetitive gameplay loop.
- Phenomenal level design but very generic enemies.

Of course, Control had Remedy's signature creepy atmosphere. But I feel all their games have yet to match the masterful gameplay of Max Payne series. I'd love a new Max Payne game......

This game's development is cursed. Changing whole teams is stuff of nightmares. Very low probability of an acceptable turnaround let alone living up to the first game. Such a damn shame. The original destroyed Troika, and now this has destroyed Hardsuit Labs. Biggest difference though is Troika was a dream team but Hardsuit Labs clearly wasn't good enough for the job.

It's just a damn shame. It also makes me question Paradox's decision to get rid of the lead...

This is untrue. It was Nomura who suggested to whole 4th-wall breaking with regards to multiple timelines and the whispers. The former was done well, but the latter was universally criticised. The whispers are destroyed now and I just hope it stays that way.

Kitase has always told the press that he always tried to keep a hold on Nomura while not restricting his creative vision. Ultimately, Kitase is the head of that development department so he has the final say.

I'm afraid Bioware is finished as a company. The serious problems started with Dragon Age Inquisition, well before Anthem or Andromeda.

Watch GVMERS mini documentary on Anthem. Working life at Bioware was miserable during development of Inquisition that devs wanted it to fail just to send a message to EA. Ironically, Inquisition was treated as a success and thus no serious intervention took place to prevent the complete fall of Bioware.

Seems like the motion controls were like marmite. You loved it or hated it. I pesonally had no trouble with the controls so my experience was fine.

My 2 biggest gripes with Skyward Sword were the lack of regions - only 3-4 dungeons that transformed or changed over the course of the game to provide new areas. Took away from any sense of exploration and wonder the previous games had.
Second gripe is the length. It was too long in a bad way. A lot of artificial paddin...

Lol, Wii games can be played on Wii U.

Sounds like you didn't have a pleasant childhood... We're sorry man

Nintendo feels no threat. Switch sales have boomed despite pandemic and their first party titles still sell well even till today. They can release remakes of Wii U Mario/Zelda games and still expect amazing sales for minimal expense.

Aonuma trolling us hard by appearing at the end and then talking about Skyward Sword HD was the icing on the cake.

Clickbait. Regardless of anyone's opinion on the Iraq War, the game was never intended to be about "promoting war crimes." And there are already plenty of games that sorta do anyway.
