This is a sign of how the industry is radically changing.
I fear for GTA 6 at this rate...
GTA Online on PC is definitely full of modders. A few years ago a guy dropped like $100m in front of me and pretty much made the progressions system redundant. Now I own nightclubs, underground bases, sports cars, tanks and jets.
Lol thanks. That's pretty much what I asked the question for. The other dude for some reason interpreted something else.
"You asked why people turn them off and I answered."
Hmm.....
"What does turning them off mean?" <- What I wrote. Key word: WHAT. I didn't even use the word WHY a single time. Don't believe me? Re-read or use CTRL-F.
Again, you're coming up with something else mate. I never asked why. I didn't even know turning them off was even a feature.
Perhaps you should read more?
Badass and "smarther than everyone else" is something you've come up with, mate. Never claimed or inferred that. I just meant that experienced players don't INTEND to use them at wrong times. Of course people can make mistakes by holding onto melee to long.
"The time spent in the animation is too long for competitive play."
^ Most people who play Halo are not e-sports types or insanely over-competitive players. Most just play for a good ...
What does turning them off mean? If someone else has them on, then assassinations still occur right? I'm guessing this is referring to not accidentally triggering assassination animation by holding Melee button too long?
I've never turned them off. Experienced players use them only really when they want to punish/humiliate an unsuspecting opponent. I'd never use them in the middle of intense cross fire or if they are near teammates.
They were...
Omar's coming!
Well the new Doom games seem to follow that design philosophy... I can hope Stalker 2 will do the same.
That makes sense. I remember when they announced the game was using Unreal Engine I thought the graphics were a bit too good for UE4.
I only hope it will keep the same "feel" as the old Stalker games. Quick animations, no "realistic" bopping mobility. Just pure PC shooter experience with very little feedback to movement.
I'm happy with the majority of change.
H5 had a great arena shooter Multiplayer. But Halo isn't traditionaly an arena shooter. It's somewhere in between military and arena shooter.
The only thing I'm not happy with changing the motion sensor. Now it doesn't detect normal movement. Before, to avoid being tracked, you'd need to crouch-walk or use an Active camo that causes loads of dummy signals. Now, it seems it a combination of ac...
Thanks mate
I agree that the 30% cut is not really the issue however the real issue is Apple's monopoly. Unlike Android, iOS is a closed system and Apple aggressively tried to shutdown jailbreaking over the years until they lost a groundbreaking court case not long ago.
Basically to explain the specifics: iOS only allows you to have access to the App Store and no other marketplace. You cannot download apps to your iPhone without the App Store. That's a form of monopoly. Ironica...
Game journos never get past the 1st boss in Soulsborne games.
No mate, Cosby basically used legal technicalities to walk. By all standards and true history, he is a proven rapist who drugged his victims. The issue is, the prosecution made a deal with the devil where during a civil case Cosby agreed to make sworn confessions of what he did but in exchange for that evidence to never be used in a criminal case. Strangely this never got brought up during his trial. And now this came to light, his trial is now essentially turned into a mistrial and he got to...
1) Halo 2
2) Halo Reach
3) Halo 3
4) Halo CE
5) Halo ODST (Music is like rank 1 or 2 though)
6) Halo 4
7) Halo 5 Guardians
- Halo 2 had the best story and gameplay and levels and (at the time) multiplayer.
- Halo Reach was Bungie's swansong and was almost perfect apart from lackluster opening level. IMO, the best MP at the moment.
- Halo 3 was a great ending to the trilogy with MP that surpassed Hal...
One of the most despicable CEOs of the games industry for sure.
Don't worry, accessibility options are disabled by default. You need to go into the settings to enable them.
Yeh, let's be clear. It's not our responsibility as consumers to support these devs at all. That role is for their employer. It's a crappy situation where there's no good option. Sure, we can hope devs move to better jobs with little hardship but of course life isn't that simple. The main problem here are these overly massive publishers that have little respect for their workers and are making extremely bad managerial decisions. Usually project creeps and vision interferen...
That's a bit too simplistic. I agree that supporting the game will ultimately give the wrong signal to the publisher and that the devs won't receive any share of the profits. But if it flops and Ubisoft need to make loads of redundancies as a consequence, the devs won't automatically find their next "better job." Good jobs aren't as easy to find as you think. Also, there's the added baggage of "life". Is the better job in the same city? Does it mean you...
Best trailer so far. I always thought that a rogue Chozo survivor as an antagonist would be a great idea. The chozo presence in the games were always that of an extinct race with left-behind artifacts.
It also seems like they're going for an intense scifi horror atmosphere. We haven't really seen that in a metroid game since Super Metroid.
