It's Ubisoft.
Expect disappointment with them, always.
They have no reason to release HL3. They make something like $750 million a year off Steam alone through transactions and sales.
And why release such a hyped game in a world filled with cynics? HL3 would be torn apart if it wasn't mind blowing in just one department.
It would ruin Valve's reputation.
No it doesn't.
The consoles create no competition at all compared to PC hardware's market.
Nvidia and AMD are constantly offering cheaper deals for better hardware to beat each other. CONSTANTLY. AMD with the R9 series, Nvidia coming out with the GTX 900 range. £250 for performance beating a £600+ card like the Titan? THAT is a deal. THAT is competition.
The new haswell chips. The new DDR RAM we're seeing arriving ...
I love console owner naivety.
You think unlocking a core will suddenly make a real difference. So cute.
I got maybe 1 game from it, and I'm sorry but online should be free end of story (like on PC), and with the amount of PSN crashes we're paying to prevent happening...
It's not worth the money for me on PS4.
There's basically never a game that I want every month.
If you love indie games go ahead, love it. I think the value is terrible.
And you'd easily be able to spend about half that if they were all PC games/exclusives.
Legit CD key sites can get you CD keys for Steam, Origin or Uplay for a good 50% cheaper than Steam, which is already around 30% cheaper than a console version.
In the UK, console games are about £50. On PC, they're about £30-35.
So you'd save over a grand here easily on that list.
But hey, you console crowd wont ...
Because blind fanboys are blind.
I tried the wireless headset about 2 years ago, and sent it back. The audio is better on my in-ear heaphones worth 1/10th of the Sony ones.
PC gets the most exclusives, actually, but yes, PS4 gets the best console versions of multiplats.
Only an idiot would disagree, because it's actual fact.
It's not trolling, he's just wrong.
Games look, run and are cheaper on PC and can be played on a couch on your TV using a controller.
Steam is currently enjoying over 50% off on around 8,500 titles in the Autumn sale, more games than all the current consoles and old ones COMBINED. I just picked up 5 games only a few years old for just over £15.
PSN and Xbox Live? Maybe 10% off now and again?
"hur hur PCs a...
Console owners are the reason for this.
On PC, if your game sucks, you get rubbish sales. When it's great, you get millions of sales.
"hur hur PC gaming is dying with low sales" - I'm sure The Order sold more than Cities Skylines in a week.
Oh wait, it didn't.
You want PC to be mentioned?
N4G isn't for you my friend.
Yeah, couldn't believe how generic and short it was either.
And I would say Bloodborne isn't a must-own, especially if you've played Demons and the Dark Souls series.
Bloodborne is just another Dark Souls, end of story.
Then I'm 100% convinced Battlefront 2 wasn't played at all by DICE.
There is NOTHING about Battlefront that is in any way similar to Battelfront 2.
Butthurt console owner.
I'd love to see if I get banned for this for trolling console owners, as they do these kinds of comments all the time to PC players here on N4G and don't get banned.
Pillars of Eternity?
Divinity Original Sin?
Oh no wait, journalists are paid by console producers to ignore amazing PC games when picking a GOTY.
Pathetic.
Only console owners and N4G readers would believe you can increase FPS on hardware while maintaining resolution and detail.
What a bunch of morons.
It's the shadow distance and god rays, they destroy performance.
I cant see them fixing it to be honest - the engine is too old and crippling.
On PC - performance issues in certain areas, and I've had 2 crashes that could be alt-f4'd, both happening when loading between areas.
The Lost Patrol is a broken quest that cant be handed in if you've got Danse as a companion or are at the stage when he asks if you're ready to continue your mission.
One area in the city has been identified as a guaranteed crash when fast-traveling during a certain mission, cant remember the names.

*sigh*
Thanks for letting Sony get away with this crap for free.
Way to let them and developers around the world see that they can keep getting away with bullcrap HD remakes, and make them think gamers want old-school stuff that brings nothing new.
Thanks for keeping the industry stagnant.
