So the guy doesn't like The Medium. Therefore he must be a CoD player.
Grow up.
Yep, I do the same. Never buy new, always wait for sales, or free games on the EGS or something. Buy the GOTY editions when possible. Have my account at isthereanydeal.com.
I have to admit, I am getting kinda tired of the industry. Exorbitant prices, low quality, no games are ever sold complete, and much more. I play retro games and backlog more than anything nowadays.
When the spinoff leaves the original in the dust.
I am a fanboy of quality experiences. Be it a video game, an amusement park ride, or a restaurant. Wherever I can find them. I am a fanboy of quality physical products. Wherever I can find them. I am a fanboy of quality customer service. Wherever I can find it. I am a fanboy of quality people. Wherever I can find them.
The notion of being blindly loyal to only one faceless corporation over some other faceless corporation is the height of insanity. The only thing any of them...
I would pay $99 for this. At the MOST.
It was so cool when Valve was a game company.
Now they are just the Steam company. Half-Life built your house, Gabe. And you haven't settled the contractor's bill. Not by a long shot.
Nice. I was aware of this one, and other retro games as well. Like The Last Faith looks awesome.
I was more referring to making games for old consoles. I recall reading about Need for Speed Pro Street being made for the GENESIS (Megadrive) in South America some years back!
I've often wondered what could be possible on old consoles with modern programming techniques. That would be something to see Genesis and SNES games being made again.
I'm not saying it was incredible content. But less is less, is all.
Not paying $60 for what is basically an upgraded ME1 and little else. And ME1 is even MISSING content it had originally, haha.
I haven't bought a game for $60+ in a decade at least, haha.
So, no. It's not. No game is.
Not the worst attempt I've ever seen. But you new trolls lack subtlety or nuance. Too on the nose.
2/10
I think the problem is that rpg's, or I should say GOOD rpg's, are the hardest games to make (I include mmorpg's in there). You have to come through on gameplay, visual presentation, sound, story/characters, AND music if you want to have your game accepted in the here and now. So of course, that's boku bucks. And companies don't wanna take chances anymore. One failed game and, POOF...your game studio gets bought or is out of business.
@Razzer
Sony actually had crossplay with the original NFS Underground. PS2 to PC.

Michael Bell, while certainly old now, is still alive. As to whether he is working still, I cannot say.
I didn't play 6 back when it was 3. I wasn't quite into rpg's in '94. I was 20 and still liked fighting/action games then. I gave it a try several years ago and just could not finish it. I acknowledge that a lot of folks like it and that's great. But it just wasn't for me. I guess by the time I tried it I was too spoiled by modern sensibilities and storytelling.
7 was the first FF game I gave a chance (it was also only the 2nd rpg I gave a chance). ...
I'm sure she's stunning and brave.
FOMO
Didn't much care for the setting. I liked Max when he was a hard-boiled NYPD detective.
