Cool.
Are they going to resume development on Unreal Tournament? If not, I couldn't care less what they do.
Downvoting MrVux000 doesn't make his statement untrue. I have a 165hz Freesync 2 monitor, and it is glorious.
Never going back to 60fps gaming.
Not too impressed with RDNA 1. Their drivers have been largely crap. They STILL haven't figured out the black screen issue people have been having since 5700 launch. Their opengl and Unreal engine support is STILL crap.
I bought the XT at launch to replace my old 970. I wanted to stick it to the green team for their outrageous pricing. But it seems that *I'm* the one that got stuck. First and last AMD card.
Yeah, not clicking on your titty-clickbait thumbnail.
Obligatory comment about digital goods and stuff.
He's got a Twitter with a small following. I doubt he'd say anything if asked, though.
I don't know why they bother. They never seem to deviate from expectations.
Really getting nitpicky now.
RE2 would like to use more than 8 in its settings.
I bought a 5700XT for 400 bucks when they came out in July. That's as much as I am spending on a video card. Paired with my freesync monitor, I run anything at 60fps+ at 1440p.
NV can take their exorbitant prices and stick them.
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War.
And not like that trash 3rd entry from 3 years ago.
Also, and I realize this is niche, but since CBS has all of Star Trek back under one roof, I'd like a new Star Trek Armada game.
@rockwhynot There's literally 12-15 games of any renown that support Vulkan. That's hardly a ringing endorsement from the dev community. What it is, is a failure. And no, I'm not happy about it. If more devs supported it, it would be better for everyone.

Did no one read the second sentence? I wish MORE would use it.
If no one except indie and emulator devs use it, then who cares?
And understand, I -wish- more in the industry -would- use it.
I miss the E3's of 15 years ago. It's a shell of what it once was. Used to be the biggest thing in the industry. :/
I'm 45 and basically a reincarnation of Don Rickles. I don't care what anyone thinks of me or my pastime.
I find that a console's performance ends up meaning less than some believe. It comes down to the dev, really. It's been happening since the earliest machines.
A machine has X performance. It's a known, finite, factor. A dev has a choice to design his game around X performance. But he wants to have the "best game", so he pushes that boundary. And you get what we have had for decades:

I only play on PC, so I don't subscribe to any services of that nature. No rental, no streaming. I'm 45 years old, and if that becomes the future? Where physical or permanent downloads disappear? Then I'm done.
These corporate douchebags are gonna get it one day that I won't be buying transitory goods, now or ever.
I buy things I get to keep forever, or I don't open the wallet. I can pop a 20 year old cdrom in and play any old pc I game I have. Or PS1 game. Or N64. I won't lay out cash for something disappears as soon as I stop paying.
When they stopped making UT to work on Gears, I was among the PC players who were less than happy with them. Then they started development of UT4 a few years ago, and I was hopeful.
THEN they dropped development to work on Fortnite. I can't blame them for wanting the cash. But I think that WITH THAT CASH they could resume development.
