Always the fanboys and apologists.
I'll be conservative and say that AT LEAST 80% of gamers play sound through their TV speakers because they're too broke, too stupid, or don't have the space to set up a genuine home theater. These sound capabilities will be enjoyed by very few. Any way you slice it, video gaming is a visual medium, and visuals are all most gamers will care about at the end of the day.
You may now downvote me to hell.
Boy, that's not clickbait at all.
Sure didn't get mine.
It only makes sense that as we approach true photo-realism, video games will be less about graphics, and more about AI, the size and complexity of worlds, and the quality of storytelling.
Japan, you guys are falling into the trap of making the same game over and over again. Too many games coming out of your dev houses look exactly like this. I thought that was a screenie from Code Vein. Not everything has to look like an anime come to life.
And as you groaned when you saw the title, so did the people seeing you have nothing better to do than comment on it.
7. I was 23. I decided to give RPGs a try earlier that year with Wild Arms. When I realized I could like the genre, I started paying attention to 7 as it approached release. To say it blew my mind is putting it mildly. People like to dismiss it nowadays. Like anything popular. But that game was a sea change in video gaming.
Apples to oranges, really. I think they're just too different to compare. One's an ARPG remake of an ancient game, and the other is a slice of life high school simulator with turn-based combat.
I'm glad it's doing well. SE, and more specifically Kitase, needed a hit. He's a good guy.
So do they actually address you as Captain, or do they just call you Obvious?
What's with all the death articles, N4G?
Damn throat cancer.
What's not being mentioned here is that kid knew what he was doing was wrong. It was spelled out beforehand. And he did it anyway. He then accepted his punishment. It's only WoW's rotten playerbase that made the big fuss about it.
I think PS5 feels good for a dip back into the old catalog for a few revivals. How about a new Legend of Dragoon? Breath of Fire? How about Square doing something with Xenogears? They don't need Takahashi (no offense to him), as they own that particular game. How about a new Chrono game? I'd love to see Colony Wars come back. Wouldn't mind seeing a proper 2D Metroidvania, or even Castlevania again. Dino Crisis? King's Field? Parasite Eve? The Strike games (Soviet Strike, Nucle...
Visual novels: Games made by people who don't want to make actual games.
Apologists abound. But I can't play God of War on Xbox. And I can't play Halo on PS.
Sigh.
Guess I'll have to buy 'em both. Again. (you fanboys that are loyal to lumps of plastic and faceless corporations are embarrassments to humanity)
Maybe it wouldn't have the filler if they hadn't thrown out Cyberconnect's work and started over.
Oh well. Expectations met.
I agree, Capcom. Put your budgets into NEW projects. Like an RE8.
RE4 has seen MORE than enough releases.
Like so many others, I am disappointed that they did not reveal anything about pre-PS4 backcompat. It's literally what's going to be the deciding factor for me. I didn't jump in on PS4, as it seemed less capable than my old PS3 when it came out(media streaming, backcompat, no CD laser). But I was thinking of jumping back into console gaming this year.
I can't understand folks that want multiple plastic boxes hogging up space all around their TVs. The goal sh...
And still only rumors about pre-PS4 compatibility. It's literally what's going to be the deciding factor for me. I didn't jump in on PS4, as it seemed less capable than my PS3(media streaming, backcompat). But I was thinking of jumping back into console gaming this year.
My dude. Have you ever heard "virtual surround" that was anywhere near the real thing?
