Well when I was young, video games looked like games. As we near true photo-realism, they look closer and closer to reality. A lot of games out there don't feel like escapes from reality anymore.
Anyone who thought this game was going to be different from other mobile games hasn't been paying attention.

In my opinion, if you take the familiar summons out of the recent trailer, it looks like any other Japanese game. I saw none of the whimsy, none of the quirkiness of FF. It just looks like an expansion for FF14.
Maybe I'm just getting old and inflexible, but I didn't get excited at all.
After emulating with PGXP for so long, I can't go back to the wobbles.
I don't even roll my eyes anymore when I read things like "F2P" or "mobile game". I'm just numb to it now.

I really enjoyed the first BFME game. At some point I became unable to play it. Wouldn't even start. Been many years since I tried getting it to run.
Definitely a series I'd like to see rebooted. That first game was ahead of it's time, but still held back by the tech of the period. I'd love to see that team re-assemble and take another stab at it.
Wake me when P3 is on modern systems and PC, and P4G is on modern systems. And hey, since I am being demanding, a P1+2(and 2) remastered collection.

The story was wrapped up after Infinite and its DLCs. Don't know where else they could go with it unless they are rebooting.
Before the internet, I had a mountain of Gamepro's, EGM's, Computer Gaming World's, and PC Gamer's in my closet from years of subscriptions. Old strategy guides. I'd occasionally pick up mags I wasn't subbed to from the news stand at the grocery store.
I LOVED getting those mags and reading them at work. Great memories.
That being said, it's been obvious for a long time that print is dead. Anything in a print magazine would be...
Unpopular opinion: Don't care for this series. Hoping they can get this out quickly and get on with next Mass Effect.
