I have to imagine that this has become a generational thing now. The offspring of initial donors are now donating and it will go on and on.
Mass insanity.
Still hoping for one more powerful TV-only console from N before I am too old to care about this shit.
But history has shown them that they don't have to spend the money on something like that. N fans would buy Zelda or Mario even if it looked like Minecraft.
What a random thing to bring up again.
Aaaaaand comments are turned off.
Lol.
Other than expansions for my favorite mmo, I cannot recall the last time I paid full price for a game. Easily a decade. At 48 years old, I just don't have to have a game right at launch.
Member when NFS games had more than just shit-hop?
I member.
It's a dark day. :(
First SRPG I ever played. I didn't think I would like it to much at first, but ended up loving it.
Glad I didn't buy the thing.
What I wouldn't give for N to release one more powerful TV-connected console before I die. I can only imagine what Miyamoto would come up with in the here and now if he wasn't constantly dealing with hardware constraints and could just go wild.
I saw that video years back when someone ran BotW in some emulator. Smooth and beautiful. It was night and day compared to Switch hardware.
I always hated Gears. It was what made Epic dump Unreal Tournament.
Now I hate Fortnite. Because it made Epic dump Unreal Tournament.
I love SMB3 as much as any kid from the 70s/80s. But when I think of Mario now at 48, it's SM64 that pops in my head first.
SM64 is on the short list of best games ever for me. Like Ocarina, and Xenogears, and Resident Evil, and Mortal Kombat, and FFVII.
The fact that you're even here discussing the matter validates the decision to do the ad.
It gets people talking about the product.
The only thing MS does unquestionably better than anyone else is throw a lot of money around. And no doubt, that can get you a LONG way down the road. Especially in this economic climate.
But it's not going to get you a Persona 5 made.
I'd still like to see Sega re-enter the hardware market.
I know it'll never happen. But I have so many good memories associated with Sega consoles.
Yep.
Persona 5 proved that you can do turn-based and be successful in the 2020's.
Not at all enthused about 16 so far.
You too can have your very own clown car.
Alright. Switch got the Personas.
SMT5 on other platforms when?
Doesn't even resemble FF. Just some "modern jrpg".
The disconnect between SE and the original fans of this franchise has turned into a vast gulf.
