You: XBox On!
XBox: Which one?
You:.......... @_@ *switches PS4 on*
That's funny, cause my bro's in the USMC and he certainly gets to game during his R&R. And I'd LOVE to know where the fuck on the planet a Marine can be stationed with no dining facility, please do enlighten me.
You're full of shit.
I'm a soldier with the United States Army, going on six years in the service. And I ask you: who the hell are you to speak for us? You're just painting us as victims and government stooges. Well, guess what, pal, I didn't get a gun aimed at my head and made to sign the dotted line, I signed it knowing full well the risk involved, and so did everyone else in the service.
As for gaming in the military, gaming is HUGE here. D...
I wonder how long it took for this guy's post to be taken over as a Spider-Man thread XD
The problem is their superiority complex and condescension of their customers. Microsoft believe they're some kind of godly innovators who create "the future" and that anyone who can't see that just "doesn't get it" and will eventually see things their way. Basically, we're sheep to be led and whoever disagrees with them is a Luddite who can't see what the future will bring.
Well, there's nothing to get, Microsoft. And you, Don Matt...
Off the top of my head, I've gotten emotional over:

Slander is spoken. When it's written, it's libel.
GENIUS move by Gamestop. First of all, they cover their butts when people start coming in pissed off by the system by showing they had nothing to do with it, but it's also a way to make people go for the PS4 instead. I TOTALLY saw this coming after Microsoft implemented DRM and used games restrictions. I see Gamestop's stock getting a substantial boost from this.
The release date, as long as it's before the New Year, is really not much of an issue for me, since I'm already sold on the system. That said, I seriously doubt that the system won't be released any later than November. Releasing it before Black Friday would be a huge win for Sony.
Something that WOULD be cool, IMHO, is seeing Sony bring back a few of their classic franchises that haven't been seen in a while. Seeing new iterations of IPs like Syphon Filter, M...
You know what's unprofessional, Peter Molyneux? Being as unclear in this interview as Microsoft's been the entirety of E3 and making each Fable game worse than the last. The first Fable's the only really impressive one, every other has been successively worse.
Um, I'm in the military, and this is both a very dumb way to survey other countries and an ineffective one. If the US really meant to use the XB1 as a surveillance device, they would have made the system so attractive that everyone would want one, while right now the exact opposite is true.
The saddest part about Mattrick's comment is that the 360 has basically been coasting these last few months, with no big exclusives and not really giving us anything to be excited about. It simply hasn't been doing a good job of satisfying us and being a good lead-in to the XB1. Meanwhile, the PS4 is still releasing hot exclusives, and this E3 week we've had both a HUGE F2P title Microsoft in their arrogance passed on(Tekken Revolution) and the leading GOTY candidate(The Last Of U...
I shouldn't encourage such graphic imagery on this site, but seriously, that was hella funny XD
Yeah, Polygon seems to thrive on that kind of attention. But the joke's on them, since giving a mediocre rating to what's quickly becoming the leading Game Of The Year candidate does wonders for the destruction of your journalistic credibility. Not to mention that blatantly telling us that people who haven't even touched the game are involved in the rating process is a hell of a stupid move.
Man, Sony's had a hell of an easy time with opposition lately, haven&...
Yoshida has an amazing talent to smack down people with subtle jabs. I'm betting he's the one who came up with the idea for the Sharing video.
Edit: And I think people will now think twice before namedropping him on Twitter.
Your words, use them, you must.
See, THIS is how a console company is supposed to please a developer. Not by facilitating them to screw you out of hard-earned money by draconian means, but by giving them the resources to make the best games they can. Kudos to both Adam Boyes for doing what was needed to make the PS4 the best system for developers and Randy Pitchford for giving the advice. I expect many great things from both Sony and Gearbox in the future :)
I feel blessed that the honorable Segata Sanshiro graced me with his presence and agrees with me! *bows*

You know... I'm currently on military deployment... and my job can sometimes be stressful and time consuming. Yet, I've found the time to contribute to discussion on all the hoopla surrounding E3, both about Sony's meteoric rise and Microsoft killing themselves slowly and painfully.
Now... Now it's like picking on someone like Christian Weston Chandler. It's picking on someone who's both profoundly stupid and dangerously entitled. ...
Not only is the XBox One controller less comfortable than the 360 copntroller(which I admit, is usually a little more comfortable for FPSs and driving games than the Dualshock 3), but it also has nothing new in terms of interface. The Wii-U has the touchscreen and the PS4 has the touchpad and sharing buttons, the XB1 controller's the same. I seriously though MS was gonna jump on that bandwagon.
I've been a fan of the Dualshock design since the PS1 because it's jus...
