Wakka and Lightning? List=FAIL. Pretty much anyone from the cast of 6 could replace those. And no Bartz? No Zidane? NO GILGAMESH?
Though Kefka at #1 really was the best choice.
That is an EXCELLENT point. I'm a PS fan, but I believe this to be true as well. Microsoft became too complacent by the end of the 360's lifespan(to the point that the 360 IS dead, unlike the PS3 which is still going strong), and it came back to bite them. Having to deal with Sony making such an insane impression with PS4 will force them to work on being on equal ground. They still have a ways to go, though, especially with their online service. XBox Live is NOWHERE near the great val...
I am Jack's complete lack of surprise. TLOU really was on a league of its own.
God. Of. Trolling. I loved the sexy girl's reaction, she reacted the best, it was cute. And seriously, how can you be mad at the guy? It IS a clever tag.
You think that's bad? I was chatting with my girlfriend and suddenly a quick time event prompt showed in front of me. I selected it and accidentally slugged my girlfriend in the face.
Snatcher.
Please, Kojima, I beg you.
The baby boss from Catherine should have topped that list. It was the freakiest damn thing ever.
This is the main gist of the issue, I believe. If the game had a campaign to back it up, the 6v6 MP wouldn't be considered as much of an issue(see Gears Of War), since the MP would be an added value to the whole game package. Hell, you could have MP on campaign, like Borderlands and Destiny. But when you have an MP-only game, it needs to be held to a different standard, and a higher player count is expected. FPS MP gamers don't wanna be killing bots, they wanna be killing other player...
If Sony did allow the digital copies, what would stop me from, say, borrowing the game from a friend, getting the digital copy and then giving the physical one back and having a free game I never had in the first place?
Look, guys, Sony is very good to us already. Don't push it. They can't be nice to us if they're not able to make money. Just have PS Plus and Now and you'll have enough free gaming and old game access to never have to complain.
Make that Top 4, cause the rest are multi-platform. You could literally do a Top 10 for PS3 and all of them be exclusives.
I have no idea why you got so many downvotes when you were right on the money, dude. For my part, I'm giving you a bubble.
And while this guy is VERY wrong on how Sony handles consumers, the fact is that backward compatibility is an appealing feature, even though, as you've rightfully pointed out, it's not something that easy to implement. The thing is, though, that Microsoft just plain dropped the 360 like a bad habit, and the console will be stone dead within th...
Sony thankfully has quite the impressive library coming in the next few months, and with the beta running for PS Now, we'll be able to see how soon they have it finally available at large. Just having PS Now as a service will MASSIVELY increase the PS4 games library. I mean, wow, we're talking three generations and four systems emulated(five if Vita is too?), that is a ridiculous value for the money.
Very true, but the problem in Microsoft's case is how much they've been trumpeting the Cloud as the future, while Sony (no pun intended) is showing that it is now. They just showed that they not only have Cloud Computing capability, but it's already running on beta, have impressive demonstrations and a tentative date. Plus, it's available on a myriad of platforms as well. If you objectively compare what MS has accomplished with Cloud Computing right now and what Sony's acc...
Very simple message from Boss Kaz: you can't use the Cloud as a buzzword if you can't get results. MS has been trumpeting the "Power of The Cloud" for months, yet Sony's the one that actually has shown an upcoming Cloud product with a tentative release date, an impressive performance demonstration and wide-spectrum availability.
I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but Microsoft seriously needs to start to make good on all those promises they...
Wait, what? In what way, shape or form is Bioshock Infinite a commercial flop? As for TLOU, I think we might see it sooner than people realize. Once the sales f the game pretty much taper off, it'll get released shortly after.
But a game like Call Of Duty will probably never get released on the Instant Games Collection just because it's Activision, a company that always tries to squeeze water out of a stone.
Oh, so the power of the cloud is magically perfect for Microsoft but when Sony actually shows concrete progress, wide-spectrum implementation and a tentative release date, it's suddenly crap? Keep drinking that Kool-Aid, bud.
Disney got bought by Marvel after they recovered from the bankruptcy. By the time they bought them, they had already released a load of their superhero movies and their comics division had made a comeback.
First of all, bankruptcy is a state in which a company cannot generate enough profit to pay off its operating debts which results in the need of legal protection. It is not a company going under. Marvel Comics filed for bankruptcy in 1996, and you wouldn't know it from the entertainment juggernaut it currently is. A company can still function during bankruptcy, and in fact filing for bankruptcy can actually save a company, since it incites prudent spending and trimming of unnecessary asse...
Even if it's a failure(so far) in sales, the Wii-U has had some very appealing games, with the Year Of Luigi offerings, Wind Waker HD and Super Mario 3D World(which is getting hailed as the best 3D Mario game since Mario 64). And the 3DS is still kicking major ass with some flagship releases, like Fire Emblem, Link Between Worlds, Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Pokemon. Although I DO think that it's ridiculous that Nintendo has a higher score than Sony. Even with the lackluster performance ...
I would commit atrocities for a new Tomba game.
