Agreed, I got a huge Dragon's Dogma vibe from it, and that is ALWAYS praise coming from me.
It's true that his examples are very weak, but it IS a thing that there's a vocal part of the Undertale fandom that is toxic in the extreme. The phenomenon is not exclusive to the Undertale fandom, and fandoms of other works can be even more toxic (League of Legends and Overwatch come to mind), but the ironic part is that an essential part of Undertale's narrative is the power of caring and compassion, while the toxic fandom the game has is the polar opposite of those concepts.
Because he stops runaway cars, the new Spider-Man game turns our hero into web-slinging Inspector Mooselini from Parappa The Rapper.
Because he beats up on a fat guy, the new Spider-Man game turns our hero into web-slinging Cosmopolitan magazine.
Because he dances on the ceiling, the new Spider-Man game turns our hero into web-slinging Lionel Richie.
Because he's constantly changing clothes, the new Spider-Man game turns our hero into web-slinging Kylie Jenner. ...
Cause after Hurricane Maria, the telecommunications infrastructure in Puerto Rico is jacked and it's more reliable to buy the physical game than trying to download it.
You hit a big one with your post: PS4 is the console for Japanese-developed games not exclusive to Nintendo's consoles, and the PS4's Japanese exclusives include some heavy-hitters like the Yakuza series, Bloodborne and the upcoming Sekiro and Death Stranding.
Not only has the PS4 released more games overall and WAY more exclusives, but they've also been consistent in their games' quality and free of bullshit like loot boxes and microtransactions. If you get a Sony game, it'll be a great, complete expetience out of the box, and any DLC that comes further down the line will add to the experience.
I saw last night a video one of my friends posted of him playing Fortnite with a couple of buds. They made an elevated obstacled race course and were just driving around on it in golf carts
COD is NOT beating that.
Yeah, and I bet he won't say tue same shit about Crackdown 3 when (if!) it comes out. Typical fanboy hypocrisy.
The game is doing gangbusters, pretty much all gaming news outlets already covered the game. Now news on it will be more opinion pieces, gameplay guides and stuff like speculation of a sequel, while active coverage switchs to other games coming out. A few months down the line, when NG+ comes out, it'll get buzz again, as well as when year-end and 6-month sales figures start being reported. The reporting is part for the course for this kind of game.
New Game+ is a feature that requires a lot of beta testing and balancing. One has to work in all the late game features at the beginning of the game in such a way that it doesn't break the campaign or cause problems. Not to mention that, if NG+ involves a ramped-up difficulty, you have to rebalance all the different enemy encounters and challenges.
Also, in a roundabout way, it's also a a way to reignite interest in the game after people already beat it. Giving the ...
I wouldn't say he's completely different. I'd say he's a distilled version. They took the most essential parts of the character while cutting away the fat and also giving a spotlight to neglected parts of the character. Focusing a lot on Peter's scientific and gadgeteering skill is VERY welcome, since it's something that so very few comic writers spotlight about him, and all the gadgets are stuff that you could totally see Peter thinking up in the comics.
>PS4 cant handle this game.
>Game was showcased in Sony conference.
>What is this I don't even.
So... Dragon's Dogma.
Every review I've seen so far that is not IGN is ranking low, many 6/10 and 2/5 reviews, so IGN is being the odd man out on this one. I'm surprised the game is ranking mediocre, though. I didn't play Rise, but the first reboot game was pretty damn good, I wonder what made this one rate so badly.
Agreed, not to mention that development costs are probably way higher in Bioware games compared to Dice, so their profit margin must be way higher as well.
To be honest, at this point, it'd be a mercy for EA to kill Bioware and the developers do a mass exodus into making a new studio away from them. As long as they're under EA's thumb, I only see things getting worse for them.
Give this man a prize.
Lemme explain, bro. The LORE of Destiny is amazing. When you read the encyclopedia articles on all the concepts, history and factions of the game, they're very deep and fascinating. But the STORY of Destiny we actually see in-game is honestly crap. It's just thin dressing to explain all the shooty bits.
BLOOD
BORNE
Go spam a Call of Duty article, leave Yakuza alone.
It's releasing at Christmas time, and Sony won't pull that artificial shortage shit Nintendo does with their mini-consoles, so I expect Sony to make a FUCKTON of money with this.
And to those people bitching that this is to capitalize on the fad for mini consoles, so what?! It's adorable and a great collector's item for nostalgia's sake, the 20 games will probably be some of the greatest games ever and it's barely been announced, we'll probably g...
