1. PS5 will easily be backwards compatible, since its architecture will be similar to PS4's.
2. And you will never get Kratos, or Aloy, or Spider-Man, or Jak, or Ratchet, or Sackboy, or Nathan Drake, or Kazuma Kiryu, or Cole McGrath, or The Hunter, or the Helghast, or Ryu, or Kenshiro, or....

I'd like to see how the hell they sell shareholders on a $99 system, cause that'd be selling the system at an ENORMOUS loss. Every new game system always starts selling at a loss, but this would be so massive that the amount of games they'd have to sell to break even would be in the dozens per system. This is a ridiculous theory.

I gotta admit, as far as dumbass clickbait headlines go, this one is right up there.

So you're comparing some mech game made by the people who make the naked titty ninja game, to a game based on the most important shonen manga series ever and developed by the creators of the Yakuza series.

You done played yo'self, son.

Oh, so Fist Of The North Star: Lost Paradise is coming out for Switch this Tuesday? No? NOT FOR ME, THEN.

I think the next announced crossplay game will be the Elder Scrolls card game. Bethesda were pretty adamant that no crossplay=no game there.

Ok... So, where are the games?

The biggest reason I have for Disney to take the franchise from EA is this: Star Wars is hurting right now, not only in the videogame sphere, but as a franchise as a whole. The movies' future right now is uncertain, and novels, comic books and TV series are kind of niche. Right now, videogames are the MOST promising venue that Disney has to make Star Wars relevant again, and the most compelling way to create new lore and experiences for Star Wars fans. We need a new game to the scale of K...

Many people say that releasing at the same time as Spider-Man is not a factor, specifically cause the game is multiplat. Here's the thing, there's factors that clearly show this is not the case:

-The game is a 3rd-person platformer/shooter. Historically, this genre does better on consoles than PC.
-The PS4 is the dominant platform this gen. There may be more PC's out there, but as I said, PC player tastes lean to other genres, and the XB1 right now is a...

Lol, considering the amount of dislikes we're getting, I believe we're being watched.

Battlefield 5 has female soldiers, players bitch cause it's "historically inaccurate."
Women generals and soldiers are included among the Celts in Total War: Rome II, which IS historically accurate, and they STILL bitch.
I'm starting to think historical accuracy is not the issue here.

I hope they also rate it for PC, so I can pirate that shit, cause I ain't giving Konami a single cent. Konami and EA are the two companies that I will never support, EA because of their bad treatment of their customers and Konami because of the bad treatment of their employees. They're the two sides of the gaming company shit-coin.

THQ Nordic? Not a bad idea.
Microsoft? HELL no. For it to end up like Rare? And limited just to the XBox platform? The only scenario worse than that is if EA bought them.

I like a tough game as long as it gives me tools to tackle it with. Games which are just hard for the sake of hard (like many of the old NES games like Battletoads and Ghosts N' Goblins) are anti-fun for me, but games like the Soulsborne series, that reward patience and careful play and that give you new gear and skills to build yourself with, are awesome. Can't wait for Sekiro :)

I agree. Part of what makes the Yakuza series so funny is that Kiryu is such a great straight man, and when he does ridiculously cool or silly stuff the contrast is laugh-inducing. The Ono-Michio sidequest in Yakuza 6 is one of the most gut-bustingly funny moments in any game ever, and that's just one of the literally hundreds of hilarious and goofy quests throughout the series.

What's surprising about this? Majima is BY A LANDSLIDE the funnest and most entertaining character in the series, and, as cool as Akiyama is, he wasn't gonna beat Kiryu. This is exactly the rating I expected.

Also, I LOVE THE YAKUZA SERIES SO MUCH. I can never say that enough.

@T2X This is exactly my way of thinking. The original RE2 was made under the 90's definition of cool, while the RE2Make is made with modern sensibilities. Ada having a trenchcoat and more sensible dress makes perfect sense, especially since Ada vountarily jumps into the zombie outbreak as part of her mission to secure the G-Virus. A heavy trenchcoat is much more capable of withstanding a zombie bite than a cocktail dress.

I am NOT holding my breath on a new Castlevania anytime soon. IGA's gone, so any game Konami produces in the series would be utter crap. Get Bloodstained when it comes out instead.
