... yep, that is a factual statement.
If you don't sweat graphics, the vanilla PS4 is the best value in gaming currently. The console is currently value priced with tons of bundles, best library in the industry with tons of games including the most exclusives, PS Plus giving you "free" games every month and discounts, constant flash sales on PSN... It's the console that gets you the biggest library at the most affordable price. The Pro is great, but for people who don't have a 4K displays, it's not reall...
It shows a vision of Microsoft's future: continue making mediocre games and throwing them into Game Pass when they fail, "adding value" to the service.
PUTTING IT ON GAME PASS! I can't WAIT for another mediocre game to add value to the service!!
/sarcasm
I'm personally more impressed by in-engine cutscenes than pre-rendered because even my phone can play a pre-rendered cutscene, it's literally just a video file, while an in-engine cutscene is my system actually doing the work. Also, I don't know if in-engine technology is more advanced lately than video codec technology, but I can often see those squares that form in pre-rendered video that betray it as video and it takes me right the hell out of the experience. Also, in-engine vi...
Oh boy! I get to play Crackdown 3 and Sea of Thieves on my Switch!
Lol 🤣
I don't have online friends. When I play online, I just play with whoever's online at the moment when I log in. There is literally no possible way for me to tell if someone is playing through cross-play. I'm pretty sure I am not alone here, hell, I'm pretty sure I'm not in the minority, and the PS online community is big enough that it makes no difference. The only people this affects is people who play the same game on multiple platforms or people who have friends who pla...
Yeah, what I saw of the gameplay looked really mediocre. I was looking forward to this game becausw of all the franchises included I'm a fan of (JoJo, Dragonball, Saint Seiya, City Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Fist of The North Star), but after seeing the game in action, I immediately lost interest. It just looks so bland and empty and the fighting looks so boring.
It should read "6 ways in which Anthem differs a little bit from Destiny but not really".
The headline is clickbaity as all hell, but the article is well enough. He basically states that The different aspects of the game don't gel well together to form a fun experience, and that it's flash over substance in terms of content and gameplay. It basically says that, technically speaking, it's more impressive than Destiny, but Destiny works better as an actual game experience.
What a piece of crap clickbait article. Every single "nothing like Destiny" point is merely slight variations on the formula instead of complete differences, and if anything, it just makes Destiny seem the better game (which, let's be honest here, it is).
Wait til Star Citizen drops for next-gen and Sony has the only console with VR capability. Microsfot will get loads of egg on their face.
This is a clickbait article that you have to click a bazillion times to read, so don't eve bother. That said, I think REMake 2 is an interesting game in that, while it remakes the original RE2 and is an excellent game in its own right, it doesn't REPLACE RE2. You can still play the original RE2 and get something out of it, un like the case with REMake 1, which straight-up makes RE1 obsolete. In REMake 2's case, however, RE2 still has many things REMake 2 does not, and it holds up ...
@uRaDecepticon
Lol, what? Saints Row 4 is EXACTLY the same gameplay formula as Crackdown 3, except it's infinitely more entertaining, is a PS3/360 era game that plays better than a current-gen one and you can get it along with its expansion for pennies. And if you expand it to include other superpowered open world games that don't have exact gameplay but similar, you can add Prototype, inFamous and the recent Spider-Man to that list.
Crackdown may...
Well, considering Metacritic's score is an average based on major gaming news outlets' reviews of a game, which results in an average score that gives an overall view of a game's quality... yeah, Metacritic pretty much does have final say.
By the way, Game Rankings' score of the game is pretty pathetic, too.
Well, Jim Sterling himself said that Saints Row 4 does everything Crackdown 3 does but better, and that game is PS3/360 era, so that's pretty damning. Hell, he said PROTOTYPE is better, damn, and he doubled down by saying that pretty much every superpower-based open world game is better. And honestly, there's no defense for this game. This is 2019 and this Crackdown offers nothing over Crackdown 2, that's reprehensible. This is especially damning when the open world genre has pro...
Someone's been playing Apex lately.
@Starchild
Explain to me how having features promised that were not delivered and that the biggest talking point about your game was all hot air which offers no substantive value NOT something that should be taken into account when evaluating a game? They went HARD at No Man's Sky for not having many of the features they promised at launch, and rightfully so. Then the features were added and, what do you know, No Man's Sky turned into a pretty entertaining game. I d...
The Mexican anthem is pretty badass, actually.
