Exactly. I've come to notice the difference between Ultra/High, and even medium settings sometimes can be hard to notice unless you're deliberately looking for the differences as well. A lot of folks seem to think you need a $2000 GPU to enjoy pc gaming when a midrange card that costs similar to a new console can perform exceptionally well for years.
People even get downvotes for saying they play on PC. LOL. Same boat as you man. It's fantastic on PC.
I think the gaming community is just toxic. Period. I'm a PC gamer near exclusively, but I don't care whatever hardware you use to play whatever new release. The fact that a system I built 7 years ago can still play games at a high level seems to upset people. I'm not saying I'm running everything on Ultra w/ raytracing, but I'm getting parity with the latest consoles. That just seems to rub folks the wrong way, and then both sides begin to get defensive. Both have ...
Sorry. I don't pay attention to the PS5, only console of theirs I've decided to skip. Not for any particular reason. Just between the PC, and old ps4 pro I can't validate getting one. Even better that the PS5 version runs perfectly (for me) out of the box without waiting for patches. Still, the system requirements are quite low, and that's what made me assume. Just very well optimized then. Must have learned a lesson from the terrible state The Last of Us launched on P...
I hope the PS6 is a powerhouse. I'm honestly not concerned about photorealism, I just want 60fps as a bare minimum regardless of the title.
This was a game released on pretty old PS4 hardware. I'd hope it'd come close to PC parity. I waited for the PC port before playing it on PS+ on the ps4 and I'm glad. This game may be the most optimized out of the box day one pc release I've played in a long time. So happy Sony is bringing their top quality games to PC. Even if some time later.
Consoles just need to focus on hitting 60+fps / 120fps on all releases. I don't want to play a photorealistic games that have frame dips.
Ridiculous. People need to get over this crap with PSN. I'll take it if it means I get to play Playstation games on my pc.
Cyberpunk turned itself around near completely. Just wish it had a NewGame+.
Well. Lets just say that 70% is a lot better than 0% from the PC community.
I can see maybe 2 years being fair. I'm not sure how long it takes to port over, but if it takes that long to release a relatively bug free and smooth game at launch then I'm not going to complain. I played the (new) original God of War just a year ago, and can't wait for Ragnarock. The only dumpster fire I recall so far has been The Last of Us, but they patched that up and it's great now.
Probably afraid that modders will create true to life rosters.
you got city maps now.
Cyberpunk turned itself around into a very entertaining game. It took a couple years, but is totally worth a re-run if you haven't played since Phantom Liberty came out.
I shelved it after a few hours in game at launch, glad I didn't refund it. One of the few games I've actually completed in the last year, and after finishing the campaigns I wanted to just jump back in from the start. They pulled a No Mans Sky and finished one of the best FPS in the last few years.
i did the same thing, can't let the backlog continue to grow!
Sales of Helldivers 2 may make them rethink that strategy considering the majority of Helldiver 2 players are on PC, and it's the fastest selling game they've ever published. However I do think a 6 month window would be fair all around. 6 months is plenty of time for a game to be on shelves past launch. If anything bringing games to pc more quickly will just increase revenue. I've bought every first party they've released on PC and have been very pleased with performance an...
Why not read one of the reviews and find out?
A ton of really sad clowns in here downvoting people saying they like the game lol.
Now that would be a great setting.
