Not sure why your getting down voted because you found Alan Wake 2 amazing. I'm in the same boat as you. Can't wait for Control 2 & the Max Payne remakes. Max Payne 1 & 2 were some of my favorite pc games from my early teens lol.

I've been a steam user since it's inception with Half-Life 2. The platform has never done me wrong. Yet, to be fair. Epic, and GOG have been consumer friendly as well. I never had trouble getting refunds through any of the three I mentioned.
U-Play and Origin/ea app whatever they are using now are the worst.
Now I need to buy a new TV. Great generation to be a late adopter.
I enjoyed it for a hot minute. Like an evening or two of play....wasn't inspired to come back. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really redeeming either.
I'll just keep on playing Last Epoch. Single player, offline, solo.
Borderlands 3 had the absolute best gameplay in the series. I hope they keep that. People crap all over BL3 despite it reviewing well. It's only fault really being that it's antagonists are rather lame. Moment to moment shooting & looting was better than ever.
Run the Eruptor as your secondary and a MG as your primary. You're going to be wrecking shop.
AMD frame Generation will make this playable on many systems that float around the medium / low specs.
It's not bad. It's just hard to top Handsome Jack as an antagonist. I really enjoyed 3. It has the best gameplay of the entire series, and it holds the same vibe. Tiny Tina's Wonderland was a huge disappointment to me.

I still enjoy the game quite a bit. However I've adjusted my play style and enjoy needing to diversify my loadouts between missions and not just loadout vs bugs & loadout vs bots. I think a lot of people just won't use the Epic Online Store at all. If It'd seen a simultaneous release on steam and console I think the numbers would be a hell of a lot better. I'm honestly hunting for deals whenever something pops up on steam just so I can have it there rather than on Epic. Epic just isn't as mod friendly.

@magatsuhi. Well to be fair the 3 different armor classes give various stats that give an advantage. Heavy, medium and light armor and all the various perks tied to them. Granted it's not an incredible amount of customization but to say there is none? Maybe I'm different and it just doesn't bother me that I can't decorate my guns and outfit with silly stickers and skins. They aren't hard to kill. It's just if you get stuck in the tentacles your in for a bad time. Easy from distance with a launcher of some kind.

Right there with you on people complaining. I feel like I'm legit the only one who doesn't feel that every "nerf" has ruined the game. I'm level 90 still playing at level 7 and completing missions about 85% of the time. I was trading out weapons just for the sake of using them all, and while some are better than others. They all have a way they can be leveraged. Only recently did I start seeing people bring in Sentry's regularly. Which can be game changers.
