The environment for Bioshock Infinite was it's strongest characteristic. Kind of a by the numbers game for them. However I did enjoy the hell out of it. It's DLC was solid too.

Funny how I actually did. Beat it three times, twice on the 360, and again on PC. Sorry you had a poor experience.

at least a few extra thousand gamers in Houston & surrounding areas have no power. 2.5 million at one point. Not saying it the reason the numbers are as low as they are, but all my friends in town play, and I imagine plenty others around here & surrounding affected area the numbers somewhat. 2.5 million without power in one of the largest cities in the country. imagine it makes a bit of a dent.

Same here. I played Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim and Fallout 4 vanilla with no issue at all. I honestly only remember one bug being i needed to fix was Fallout 4's incredibly long load times on the PC. Which I fixed with dropping a single file into the directory.

I see Raven Software and immediately get nostalgic of the hours spent playing Soldier of Fortune 1 & 2. First game I remember being able to absolutely destroy people lol. I think you could blow off fingers in SOF 2. Good times.

@ Chard, I've played all the FromSoft games. I WANT TO LIKE THEM. Bloodborne was incredible, and enjoyed it due to it's unsettling nature. It also had a more offensive approach that I enjoyed. Not going to lie and say I beat the game, but I found that the world building and unsettling environment to be absolutely top notch. Look. I'm not opposed to people enjoying their stuff (hell, I try). I'm just saying I'm not jumping over the moon for whatever they put out nex...

Knowing the current situation the game is going through with people wanting more content. I think they should have maybe pushed the vacation a month or two. In business you don't walk away from a hot iron.

I'm not saying I'm not going to play with random folk. I'll just never join a game again. I will host and let anybody play, and they can rest assured they will not be kicked. Unless they are just griefing and team killing blatantly. Otherwise I'm still down to blow the crap out of bugs & bots with anybody. I just will not allow myself to be disappointed by the low character of others playing online.

Remember 3rd party games on PS3 vs Xbox360? The 360 versions routinely outperformed their PS3 counterparts. There are always going to be exceptions, but it was that way for near an entire generation.

Looks like the shoes on the other foot this generation.

Well that's disappointing. Legit have no reason to log in unless to play with my bro's. I mean that will keep me playing, but I won't be running any more games I host with random folk....why should I?

Agree that Blood and Wine is an exceptional DLC cut from the same quality cloth of the main game. Shivering Isles was that over a decade ago, and was truly a unique setting from the rest of the game. Possibly one of the last major old school "expansion" packs.

Love how all the tests are done on a freaking 4090....why not a more practical card to truly show what impact it's had on cards people haven't recently dropped 2k on.

I have a 3080, and the difference is becoming less and less apparent. Not saying FSR is perfect yet, but It's improving bit by bit with every update. Depending on your setup the difference is really becoming negligible, and in a couple years AMD's equivalent will be just as viable. Won't need to buy a new GPU to take advantage of it either.

I will never "join" a mission again. The whole kick at extract has happened to me twice now, and honestly. I never expected it, but the community is the active reason I'm playing less than I was prior. Level 71, everything unlocked. I just play for fun as I've nothing left to grind for.

Have to jump on Falcom stuff on sale. Noticed it's rarely discounted.

DLSS plus AMD frame Gen can be used together via a mod that's easy to install on most games that support DLSS 3.0. It's a difference maker and both work very well in tandem with each other. I can see it being implemented moving forward as the Frame Generation aspect of FSR does not need to be coupled with it's it's upscaling tech. That said. FSR is getting better with each and every upgrade. Honestly it's getting hard for me to see a difference at this point with my 4...

Speaking as somebody who can solo level 7. Saying it's "too hard" is just incorrect. You're doing it wrong. Play the objectives, bring in stratagems that are the most useful to your situation. Everybody on your crew have weapons to down heavies as their secondary? Guess what...you don't need one. Bring in some Sentry's or an underused / forgotten weapon. I rocked a grenade launcher the past few games, and I'll be damned if I forgot how effective it was. R...

Level 71, everything unlocked. Ship modules, stratagems, all the Warbonds etc etc. I really love the game, but I'm at the point now where I feel like I've got just about everything the game has to offer. Like you I solo level 7, and go higher when grouped up. I just have no reason to care about extracting with every single thing on a map anymore. Gonna need to beef up the content sooner rather than later.

That's what I'm saying....some stuff just isn't for everybody. You like Souls like games, I don't. It's just that simple. I found the combat in Witcher 3 to be entertaining enough that I didn't find it as a total detriment to the game and actually found it enjoyable. BG3 is a completely different genre and some people may not find it "fun." Despite it being one of the most awarded games ever. It's all subjective. FromSoft stuff is unique, I just do...
