I only picked up 2k24 on pc because it was on sale for dirt cheap, and I'm a mark for the 2k series. Been playing since the OG 2k on Dreamcast. At least PC gets the "next gen" version now. So it will actually be all new to me. However just like Madden the lack of competition in the genre has lead to all this stagnation that everybody knows about, but have no other real options if they want to play a real basketball game.
So instead of supporting developers you'll just steal their work?
This is why Helldivers 2 is fun.
Last console I bought was the PS4 and well over half of my games are digital. I've been gaming on PC forever, and physical releases for pc has been abandoned for quite some time. Most casual gaming pc builds don't even have disc drives anymore. I'm thinking consoles have about one more generation before they become all digital as well.
It's happened to me before. Getting kicked right at extraction a couple times for no reason. I wasn't griefing, talking mess, or team killing etc etc. I'd completed a number of the objectives on the map solo and had over 20 samples...
Then I read how this became a thing a bit ago. Luckily (knocking on wood) I'll not have to run into that again.
Lots of people just coming back from vacations or traveling. I know I typically take a vacation if I can use 3 vacation days to get 5 over a weekend. So if your taking those numbers from 4:00am on a Tuesday morning...when the majority of people are sleeping because it's finally time to go back to work. The numbers are going to be incredibly lopsided.
Please no! Really one of the reasons I've quit playing Call of Duty is because it's become so ridiculous.
hmmm people not being pleased with your product and complaining by expressing their opinion should be considered a huge sign you've done something wrong as a publisher or developer. Don't pull shady Sh, release a complete and unbroken game, and your going to make your money. Modern Warfare III is a glorified expansion pack, and it sold bonkers numbers just due to the Call of Duty name.
I'm probably in the minority, but I absolutely loved Far Cry 5. Loved the setting, story, sound effects and gunplay. I've beat them all including the first entry...except for 6. Six just feels terrible for some reason.

This needs to stop. If you can't see the writing on the wall that everything is going digital you simply have your head buried in the sand. I've been gaming since I was 5 on the NES, and guess what. Media changes. PC floppy disks (big & small, Cartridges, tape decks, CD, Laser Disc, DVD, Blu-Ray.

Suicide is the best move if your slogged in a battle away from the extract zone. Just grenade your feet if you don't many samples, and get called back at the ship.
The environment for Bioshock Infinite was it's strongest characteristic. Kind of a by the numbers game for them. However I did enjoy the hell out of it. It's DLC was solid too.

at least a few extra thousand gamers in Houston & surrounding areas have no power. 2.5 million at one point. Not saying it the reason the numbers are as low as they are, but all my friends in town play, and I imagine plenty others around here & surrounding affected area the numbers somewhat. 2.5 million without power in one of the largest cities in the country. imagine it makes a bit of a dent.
FINALLY
Same here. I played Fallout 3, New Vegas, Skyrim and Fallout 4 vanilla with no issue at all. I honestly only remember one bug being i needed to fix was Fallout 4's incredibly long load times on the PC. Which I fixed with dropping a single file into the directory.
I see Raven Software and immediately get nostalgic of the hours spent playing Soldier of Fortune 1 & 2. First game I remember being able to absolutely destroy people lol. I think you could blow off fingers in SOF 2. Good times.
@ Chard, I've played all the FromSoft games. I WANT TO LIKE THEM. Bloodborne was incredible, and enjoyed it due to it's unsettling nature. It also had a more offensive approach that I enjoyed. Not going to lie and say I beat the game, but I found that the world building and unsettling environment to be absolutely top notch. Look. you can legit customize your armor, helmet, primary weapon, secondary weapon, grenade, and 4 unique stratagems. I'll agree that the levels could be more diverse with some possible city like landscapes. Saying it lacks customization isn't truly accurate.
I haven't looked it up, but how many concurrent players do games that are not COD, or Fortnight idle around?
