this was a day 1 buy for me- but due to the fact it took them so long to release in the US and the censorship ill wait till it goes on sale if i get it at all- I ll jst replay the original Xenoblade instead-

I agree they have not shown interest and I think it is a much bigger mistake then they realize- Considering the Family/youth demographic is so important to Nintendo, not having Minecraft on their platforms has and is becoming a "deal killer" for kids and the parents purchasing platforms for them to play it on

I do think Nintendo will have some kind of sales hook that may or may not work but I just don t see Nintendo truly buying into longer term 3rd party, mutually beneficial relationships or vice versa (again i hope i ma wrong)
I also think they are working very hard to transistion to the NX asap (weather it is 2016 or 2017, IMO...
They will take the best games they had planned for the wiiu plus a few others and put them on NX instead for launch- They will make a big show re 3rd party support (again) , prob have a few ports of good 3rd party games and launch the NX-

The xbox 360 xb1 and ps4 each sold pretty well too but not as much as the wii u (combined they sold alot more)- but no matter how you look at it Ubi made the right decision as they sold alot more Rayman than they would have releasing only on the wiiu when it had about a 3 million +/- install base

By mentioning NX by name when the announced mobile gaming, Nintendo knew it would begin immediate and massive talk/reporting/speculation that they had begun the process of transitioning to their next console.
If they had any notion to slow that speculation down, they would not have announced that 1) Zelda U would not be at e3 and 2) they would only be focusing on games to be released in the near future/2015+/- at e3 (which is not typical for Nintendo to do)

Nintendo has always talked about games years away- in their 1st major Nintendo direct (feb 2013 I think) they discussed, showed trailers etc for many of the wii u games that would come out over its lifespan- most did not come out w in 12 months and some have still not been released
This e3 is the only time I can remember Nintendo not talking about gamaes way out in the distance
As a day 1 Wii U owner It is frustrating that they have delayed the game due to the NX - however i can live w the possibility Zelda U may be released on the NX so long as it is released on the Wii U 1st or the same day as the NX and there is no content exclusive to the NX
If they delay the Wii U version a few weeks past the NX version like they did w TP on the Gamecube i wold not respect that
