Do you believe the real reason a multi billion corp decided not to include the OPTION for anyone to use voice chat because one of their developers had a bad experience?

Most of the time Nintendo does not even TRY to sound credible when giving excuses for their unpopular decisions- We may never know the real reason but it probably has to do with cost -

Nintendo stock is doing well after the DeNA announcement- but Nintendo has lost money for the past 4 years-

hac- hunter- it would help if you read the story you are commenting - then you would not ask a question that is answered in the story multiple times

none other than TP?

When they put Zelda TP on both Gamecube and Wii, did they do any other games that way- on both consoles?

Poor sales = shorter effective life- for the Wii u the 1st year of its life can hardly even count re 1st party due to the lack of software for the system- the latter part of the lifespan will probably be pretty weak or it will just cut off suddenly

Basically we will get less content re 1st and 3rd party due to poor sales (there are other reasons that effect 3rd party stuff but sales is 1 of them)

It is amazing to me that the PS4 sold more hardware in this time period than the Wii U sold software- I think that has happened a couple other times this year as well- Other than WiiU- PS4, I can t imagine that has happened many times historically between same gen consoles

It includes people tht play facebook games, social/mobile games, console games etc all the same

other than that they did not define "gamer" for the study they published so the data is kind of watered down

4068d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

The study includes people who play social/mobile games the same as core console type gamers- so the definitioon of gamer in the study is probably not what most people ar thinking

The fact the study includes people who game on hardware that was primarily bought for other uses, the same as those who buy hardware specifically/primarily for gaming makes a big difference too

big difference - i wonder about some of these stories sometimes $30 V $699????

Nintendo still owns/controls and is ultimately responsible for the game as well as any patch-

If Nintendo wanted the patch notes they would be up- period

Nintendo may give alot of leeway to their game directors but they give control to no one- but either way it is still their responsibility

The text in the first paragraph of the article says it is "selling for up to $699.99" which is not correct as no one has bought it at that price or anywhere near that price-
They could sale it is FOR SALE at that price or being offered at .... but if no one has bought it then it is not selling

Nintendo owns the game and published it
(maybe i am missing your humor too)

IMO (as you mentioned in your article), the difference in this delay and some other previous Zelda delays are the fact that many of us who assumed it was going to delay past 2015, started to believe it wouldn t be delayed after Myamoto and Annouma assured in Dec that it really would be a 2015 release.

Additionally- they said it would not be at e3 at all and they did not even give a new time frame- They have not even said it would be a 2016 release at this point-

My question is- back in December when Myamoto and Annouma were insisting Zelda was going to be ready for release in 2015- were they planning on releasing an unfinished lower quality Zelda game for the 1st time in modern Zelda history, then changed their minds

more options for the consumer = better

less options for the consumer = worse

so long as they are OPTIONS yo can opt in if you want and opt out if you want- that is a good thing- why would anyone be against options for others even if that particular option is not important to them

although i rarely play online- i would surely support voice chat for those who want it - and who knows one day i may want it and it would be there for me if that w...

Someone mentioned an emulator on a miiverse thread i was reading and i asked if an emulator was hardware or software- My post was pulled and i received the same mssg about illegal activity

I wonder if i asked what the specific definition of armed robbery was - would i get the same response?

This guy believes its not Nintendo s fault because that is what Nurse Ratchet (sp?) tells him every morning to make him feel better when she enters his room to hand hi his meds.

"How are we feeling today Jason? Now, Now, don t worry its not Nintendo s fault Jason- What a pretty name you have Jason. No, No its never Nintendos fault. Just ignore the others in group this morning Jason and say to yourself 10 times "its never Nintendos fault" whenever you get upse...

jc48573 your statement could not be farther from the truth- retailers do not like empty shelves AT ALL- they want to have the product and stock to meet the demand and to bring customers in the store as well as coming back

If you read the actual exchange between the Nintendo rep and customer you will see they did not actually answer the customers questions- (aka they dodged the question)-

Do you think all these retailers world wide suddenly forgot how to ...
